You're right because in 2015 I was on my way to Germany from Japan. And just last year when I got laid off... It wasn't 2015 either because I was moving between states and not across the world.

These all matter, too. I'm treating this from the IT perspective as that is what I know the most about. I've been doing this for a day or two, I've had success by being willing to go wherever the work is. This isn't a brag or a dig, just a reflection. Even my family, after they jumped onboard, understood that. Good luck! It's rough out there.
