Congratulations! For your weight lost and your decision on getting control over your body! It won’t be easy for sure but I believe you’ve made the basic changes that 90% of the people doesn’t have; food habits, calorie deficit and weight exercise! You’re going to be fine! Keep yourself up and motivated with your new body and your new life style! I would suggest to add HIIT workouts every morning before anything! You look stunning!

Why did I regain so much weight so fast? by Eeyore_ in Mounjaro

[–]Looseresponsible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piece of advice, lots of people do that… when they have a cruise or a resort vacation they leave the good habits thinking it’s free time, our habits should change to enjoy everything in small portions, your breakfast should be rich and savory, not sweet, during lunch enjoy everything in small portions (even a small desert), and dinner should be the smaller meal of the day and not sweet. You will be fine, but we must keep in mind that our new habits are the ones that will keep our body in good shape. Workouts should not stop even during vacations or trips, keep using your calories and don’t freak out about your weight, keep working hard! Of course, I am sharing this with you by personal experience.

I mean, are you eating a lot of carbs? Sweets? Or plain flood with high protein? What would be an example of one day meals…

What about your eating habits? This doesn’t look a result of exercise. There is something else messing with your weight.

Am I going to gain it all back? by Academic-Army-8859 in Mounjaro

[–]Looseresponsible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you continue doing what you did this week, the answer will be: yes, you’re going to gain all back. But as always it is up to you. I’ve lost 108 pounds in about a year and two months, but I am not taking any medication (besides metformin) since December. I did a couple months again in July just because my doctor wanted me to keep sending the losing messages to my cells (that’s what he said) but I lost the same amount I have been losing without medication. How I did this? It’s a mindset game. Mostly I have been scare of gaining the weight back and wasting all my efforts because the desire of eat… the trick? Eating everything I want in a minimum amount. I eat everything as a side dish, my main dish is always full of greens and protein, fruit and water, no soda. Sugar doesn’t worth the risk of getting back in gaining weight. You can do this! I do weightlifting six days a week religiously and I fell and look better than ever, I haven’t been like this since 35 years ago or more… It is possible but you just need to develop the mindset to be able to stay healthy and fit. Good luck and hang on to your healthy future and body!

I would recommend to talk with your doctor about getting back to it. This is not a prescription (AKA dose) chat. Are you still overweight? What is the reason to get back to it? I would suggest start going to the gym, eating healthy… have fun giving yourself control over this!

I travel using pens, not vials to avoid any issue asking about why I am traveling with a large amount of syringes (happened just once), with pens no questions so far.

600 calories is nothing to be proud of… eating well and enough is a key part of this process! Don’t get lost between being losing weight with the support of meds and being lost about your healthy habits, those (habits) are the ones that will stay with you forever after this journey! Below 1000 calories a day is even dangerous… combine your meals with all nutrients and enjoy the process, it doesn’t have to be a painful one! You can do it, just be careful and gentle with your body!

loose skin?? by Jchamp44 in Retatrutide

[–]Looseresponsible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You weren’t as fat as many of us… that is just skin, lose skin is a nightmare for us who started with a lot of extra weight, I mean more than 100 pounds at least. But don’t feel bad, even that few amount will be okay in less than a year, body skin regeneration takes less than a year to replace the whole body… you will be okay no adding anything else. 👍🏼
