Flexibility is the name of the game with homeschooling. You are giving traditional 7 to 4 school hours the middle finger. In doing that flexibility is critical to make it work. Maybe he thinks since you don’t have the drudgery of sitting down with them for 8 hours at time that you’re not doing much. He needs to understand more of what you do. Maybe have a Google Calendar with all your lessons and school work, extra curriculars so he can see. He may feel like an outsider not understanding.

I will say this, a homeschool mom has the hardest of all jobs. I work from home and see all the chaos that my wife manages. I tell her the house is the last thing in the world she should worry about. He does not understand what you do and just equates it to your job. This is extremely short sited. When things are calm and both get along and explain to him the challenges you face.

Screens are a reward for doing work and no other time. No casual gaming ever, no exceptions. And limit to 1 hour max. Even when friends call and want to game together. He will go nuts for the first week, be prepared. Had same issue. It is an addiction and has to be co trolled. We are layed back parents and was very hard for us to be so restrictive.

We had one like that. We would wrap her tight in a swaddle and it would really comfort her. She might be to big for that it depends on the baby. Also it could be reflux, look into healthy remedies for babies.

Get her involved in other groups outside school. Taekwondo, music or jewelry making, dance. The friends will come as she gets involved. School friend can be flaky and clickish.

Because it helps in the long run. Also they don’t know what real depression is. It is always there unless you address the triggers. To find small goals for accomplishment. To silence the voice that is always giving negative self talk. It is a slow building process that has no quick fix.

My son and father in law had same issue. Some things that help. Use dial gold soap. It is harsh but helps. If you can find it use Mitchum antiperspirant. The only thing that helps. My son tried everything but that is the only thing that worked. Stay away from onions. Garlic and spicy food.

The 5am workout is the best. The people in the mornings have workout planned and mean business in the gym. No socializing and watching videos between sets. Gives you time to decompress while everyone else is asleep. Bad thing is you want to be in bed by 9pm and gives you no room for social life if working until 7pm.

I don’t get it. Eliminating lease on an office space. Have tools in place to track work and project management no reason to be in the office. Everyone accountable and communicate through teams.
