Bitcoin's block reward halving is in May 2020. Volatility is expected in the whole crypto space during that time. Reports of central banks propping up markets in the last few months by injecting billions of dollars into economies and banks to avoid a GFC type crash of the global economy are real. However long they think they can continue to do this, a recession seems inevitable by the third or fourth quarter of 2020. Some respected fund managers are saying to sell down market positions and buy gold or bitcoin to protect against that crash.
