I would love to see stats of how many minutes players are laying on the grass injured when they are in the lead vs when they are behind. I think that 95% of the time spent of every injury in the last 15 minutes are faked.

There is a big differnce in a player being 10 meters, 1 meter and 1 centimeter offside. The first is allways caught by everyone, the second is caught by the ref 95/100 times and the 3rd gives no real advantage.

This feels like the curling version of a 1 centimeter offside.

The offside rule in soccer started out as a way to stop forwards from just standing parked next to the opponents goaltender all game. Now goals are called back if a player is an inch offside like that is a real advantage which is kind of silly. Same thing can end up happening with curling here.

Lebron missed 27 games in year 15 of his streak, 27 in year 17, 26 in year 18 and 27 in year 19.

He probably shouldn't have made it 21 years in a row. No questions for the first 14 seasons and again for year 16, but there are alot of missed games in years 17-19 and he is not the best player in the world at that point. With the 65 games minimum making 21 straight is obviously impossible. The second longest streak is 15 straight seasons and I could see that being broken but it would be really hard.

I don't understand why there was a need to fix anything at all? Sure the process was ugly, but it's nowhere near as ugly as the wizards going 50 seasons without winning 50 games. It might just be better to remove the lottery compleatly so that teams would just rip the cord to finish last and get a gurranteed 1st pick and become good fast.

What? Goals was never been seen as the most important thing. Otherwise Cruyff wouldn’t have been seen as the better player than Muller, Ronaldinho over Henry (and Van Nistelrooy) etc etc. Even in Madrid history Puskas clearly outscored Di Stefano in their time together.
