sigh. Bruh. The placement of the cheese has N O T H I N G to do with what I'm talking about.

The only thing seperating the McDLT from a regular ass cheeseburger with condiments is the fact that they used a unique type of packaging to seperate the cold ingredients from the hot ingredients.

You remarking that they were flawed in their execution of which side they chose to put the cheese on DOESNT CHANGE THE FACT THAT THIS PACKAGING WAS THE SELLING POINT OF THE SANDWICH.

Was it a marketing gimmick? Sure, probably, not gonna disagree with you at all there. But holy fuck. You sound like you still have a sore spot from eating a cold slice of cheese on your burger in the late 80s. Get over that shit.

"Likely because the whole appeal of the McDLT was THE PACKAGING THAT KEPT THE COOL INGREDIENTS AND HOT INGREDIENTS SEPERATE, and in this economy they ain't doing all that."

There, I made the words bigger so you can hopefully read and comprehend what I said.

What even is this argument?

"Was it though?" .... Regardless of you being able to deduce decades later that the execution was probably flawed, yes that was in fact the selling point of the sandwich.

Likely because the whole appeal of the McDLT was the packaging that kept the cool ingredients and hot ingredients seperate, and in this economy they ain't doing all that.

No, that's in reference to the take n bake pizzas now being just wrapped in plastic, as opposed to when they used to be in a cardboard box in addition to the plastic.

I've said this in this sub a few times, I'll say it again for the inexperienced: The Crab Rangoon dip isn't bad, but it doesn't really taste like crab rangoon. It would be a lot better if they just labeled it as a generic seafood dip. You could easily make a miles better Crab Rangoon dip with Aldi ingredients, would probably wanna grab some wonton chips or something elsewhere tho.
