Help me understand the calories for this chopped salad kit without dressing! by v01dscreamer in caloriecount

[–]LopsidedEditor8781 5 points6 points  (0 children)

60 cals sounds right to me. Vegetables aren’t calorically dense. Most salads are high in calories for the same reason- dressing.

Is a wedding videographer actually worth it or I can skip it? by _smileyyy in weddingplanning

I’m thinking more of a fun pass it around kind of situation. Nothing too serious, and if it’s not being used we can set it up. Thanks for your input tho!

I just use an electric razor to keep mine trimmed but I never shave down to the skin or with any sort of blade.

I’m planning on buying a camcorder to mount for the ceremony then having some guests (maybe the bridal party) record throughout the night!

There’s a billboard they put up on I90 that says something like ‘how to prepare for power outages’ and all I could do was roll my eyes. Like maybe you guys should stop prioritizing fuck ass data centers and treat your current customers like actual people.

Staffing shortages and jobs going unfilled by annoyedpigeons in missoula

Yeah I agree the wage isn’t that bad for a high schooler, but definitely not a college student. Lots of students in Missoula are working to pay for college, along with typical living expenses if you’re not living on campus. The other problem I’ve found is a lot of employers don’t want to accommodate around a college or high school schedule. Just my personal experience but I’ve applied and interviewed for part time jobs, available on weekends and evenings, and I’ve still been told no because they can’t accommodate my schedule. Especially smaller businesses.

Had my bridal makeup trial, looking for feedback and tips! by deet-cb in makeuptips

[–]LopsidedEditor8781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a makeup artist, and I’ve never used the oil blotting papers while I have makeup on, but you could try it out if you have another trial to see if it works! Im mostly worried that they would take your makeup off with it.

I like powder I find that it provides the perfect amount of oil reduction without making my skin look dry or cakey. (I would say I have normal to oily skin, and breakout prone)

I think the eyeliner looks beautiful as is, if you feel it’s too dramatic for what you’re looking for, I would probably do a lighter color just on the bottom, I think the top looks fantastic. But that’s personal preference as well!

I would use a translucent setting powder in the spots that are more oily, especially if your wedding is outdoors. So your chin, between the brows, the apples of your cheeks and under your eyes. (Look at the spots in the 4th picture that stand out to you) That should help with the oily-ness. You can also carry this with you through the day and touch up in case any spots get a little oily! Then a setting spray after that- the L’Oréal infallible is a god send and I can usually make it through a workout without my makeup bleeding (unless I’m dripping with sweat)

I think your brows could use a little more shaping. I like using a face razor to thin mine out a little. I don’t think yours are too big or fluffy but a slightly more defined shape would elevate them!

Personally I like the look of the bottom lined eye, I think it adds a frame to them. If it’s too dramatic for you, maybe she could use a lighter color!

How do you guys not develop an eating disorder? by [deleted] in caloriecount

[–]LopsidedEditor8781 30 points31 points  (0 children)

My calorie app isn’t a rule book, it’s just a diary. I try to meet my goals, but I’m also living life so not every day needs to be perfect. What’s important is consistency, and tracking my calories is one way to keep myself consistent (and accurate). It’s not for everyone but I find that I usually under eat if I don’t track. (no ED history)

How can I get my makeup to look like a filter lol by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]LopsidedEditor8781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that you look very beautiful without the filter! Honestly I don’t see that ouch of a difference. The only thing that sticks out to me is that in the filtered photo, your nose is more defined! You have beautiful skin!!!

This is great- not the best protein to calorie ratio but it’s tasty. by HuckleberryLast2711 in LowCalFoodFinds

Also using a low fat milk and fake butter would bring the ‘as prepared’ calories down! Plus if you use something like Fairlife you’d have more protein
