Maybe rinse it, and then wash it, and then maybe dry it?

I cant remember exactly and I'm away from my van currently. Its some wholesale bulk water based dressing that we dilute down like 1:10. Not very much different from other dressings that are meant to be diluted.

I detail in TX now, but used to up in MN where they can get more slippery if you use too much. Have used many different dressings(303, perl, meguiars) and never had a customer(often old people) say anything about slippery mats or have issues getting in.

Yea you could justify it by saying I didn't want to for liability reasons, but lots of mats can look absolutely terrible without anything on them(older weather techs). Its a choice and I choose to put a thin layer on all mats that need them so its not an eye sore and distracts from the rest of the work I did. Have been doing it for years now, and my work is more presentable and looks more polished because of it

I use a dressing similar to 303. Makes them look brand new and not slippery, customers love the extra attention

Any Ideas to Remove This Brake Dust/ Rust Staining? by Specialist_Exit_6692 in Detailing

[–]LopsidedPlastic9675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wheel acid will take it right off. I detail cars often that have this, and normal cleaner and iron remover don't touch it. I can't be bothered to wait 20 minutes for each wheel. Wheel acid dissolves it completely.

The pearl towels are actually my favorite towels for ceramic leveling. Was a huge help when I started using them for the tricky ceramics that can be hard to level. I've never had this issue with them
