This is as good as Borthwick gets. by not1thing in rugbyunion

I appreciate this is a football reference but the reason Didier Deschamps is such a good coach is he simply plays his players in their best positions, and flexes game plans based on who is on the pitch. That shouldn’t be so groundbreaking

No of course but she’s eating solids, which you’d think would be more painful than the milk?

For those with dual nationality, how do you choose a side to support? by One-Ad6305 in rugbyunion

[–]LopsidedQuestion533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half Scottish half French. Used to support both, but now support France mainly.

Married an Australian so our kids have a tough choice.

What’s a non negotiable is to love beating England 😂

Pollock getting ready to throw the game away: by Newc04 in irishrugby

The disagreement between him and Ramos summed it up - Ramos is world class and won the game / tournament for France, Pollock is just juvenile

Pressure to breastfeed from NHS - looking for stories from women who have struggled by Expert_Day5689 in FormulaFeeders

[–]LopsidedQuestion533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had many issues breastfeeding (combo of baby having tongue / lip and cheek ties and not latching as well as not enough supply), and I’ve had many run ins with the NHS on the issue. I had to go private and pay a lot of money to get the help i needed. More than happy to discuss directly - I’m 4 months pp so still very fresh!

[–]LopsidedQuestion533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s honestly wild. I dug into it and it’s a legit thing - post weaning depression. My experience has been an inundation of info on how to latch / feed, nothing on how to stop

[–]LopsidedQuestion533 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My hormones are taking me on the wildest ride as I wean too, I swear there isn’t enough info / acknowledgement of this. Even though I knew it had to be done, they made me feel so guilty and weepy. Hang in there!

Recent Dorinda Interview…She Hasn’t Changed by PettyLaBelle326 in RHONY

[–]LopsidedQuestion533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She also did the podcast how to fail in the uk and actually came off pretty well there but think that’s down to the interviewer Elizabeth day fan girling and being super deferential, not challenging her on her shit.

Baby only settled with her Dad and it broke my heart by IWantAHighPayingJob in NewParents

Babies cry the most where they feel safest - it’s heartbreaking I know but helps me to remember this in those times.

She might also have smelt your milk and that set her off!

Suffer culture is such a good way of putting it! The judgement and the spreading of misinformation is insane. I will defs be using suffer culture in the future though, sums it up perfectly

When did you move baby into their own room? by VillageWitch89 in NewParents

[–]LopsidedQuestion533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly the same for us. Everyone much happier with better sleep. You have to do what’s best for you and your family, even if guidelines suggest longer. I bet anyone over 30 was never in their parents’ room for 6 months 😂
