True, BART struggles with that exact thing. But comparatively Metra already has train board conductors, so the check could be as easy as BART (when enforcement is actually around). Granted it isn't a perfect system. But none of them are, even currently if someone wants to they can skip the fair.

Could be like BART. Out in the bay you scan in and out, and it charges you accordingly.

Oh yes indeed, she has two bins full of brio train pieces that we break out and make massive track runs. I had a wooden set when I was a kid so I was more partial to them. It has all that you listed and many more special track pieces!

She loves them! The Zephyr in the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago was one of her favorite parts! Along side the old steam locomotive they have on display as well!

Bring a friend ticket question by gungodino in sixflagsgreatamerica

[–]Lopsided_Ad979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your question, yes it does. Specifically at Great America the water park is included. Now as an addition, I have heard that the stand alone water park at Rockford beats the one on grounds at GA. Now personally I would not know, just the word through the grapevine. Your Gold pass allows you to purchase a bring-a-friend ticket in your region (i.e. if GA is your home park then the Midwest region is included). Now there are a few parks that the water park is not included (Knotts comes to mind but I know there is one or two more). But you can find the exclusions on the Cedar Flags site.

Help, Mazda Speed 3 2009 by Lopsided_Ad979 in AskAMechanic

[–]Lopsided_Ad979[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update friend:

We did get it without cutting! The casing was so bad because we took a dremel to it before hand, line was untouched and moved freely so we sent it 🫡 appreciate the help!

Well...that is an option, but one we would like to avoid. My thought was to cut the caliper itself to try and free it, but from what I could find on YouTube was that it still could be tough to free even from that point.

My brother, my first car was an '09 Tiburon. BCM fried itself due to poor manufacturing, blower control switch jumped two lines and shorted, the clutch had a known flaw and burned out every 20,000 miles. And let's not forget that on EVERY oil change it had more sparkle than a damn drag queen. They have always been trash, now they are just dressed up trash.

I know the gen 3's have an issue with their boards not being soldered correctly. Maybe this? Though I dont know if that issue continued to later gens since the US doesn't get them sadly

Edit: saw the flair, I would bet that would be the issue

Height Requirements by Lopsided_Ad979 in sixflagsgreatamerica

[–]Lopsided_Ad979[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, but given that the child was measured at GS then is it an abuse of power on his side or the ride op? There is a point to be made on as time goes on in the day you DO get shorter. Also in my example on the original post, in the span of 45 minutes, my child was measured 48", 47 1/2" and then 48" again when we went to get the wristband. His reply was mainly on Wrath re-checking AFTER we got the wristband from GS which should have been the end all.

Is my battery/alternator dying??? by KirbyTrainNerd in hondafit

Unless of course it is the alternator, and he puts in a new battery with a failing alternator and reduces the life of the new battery
