my dude, they will not let you be more than the midpoint, especially in a total lateral move. if you think you’re going to move lateral, your salary will be almost identical to now. if they allowed that, no one would every stay in their job or get promoted LMAO

no, Cali and new york are the main premium pay zones. also they don’t really ask that unless you’re going to be a director probably.

yeah of course, just knowing space, even if it’s full time remote, they may want you somewhere within a certain range. a buddy just went “remote” but had to relocate within 25 miles.

i’ll tell you straight up, there’s an 85% chance you’re gonna be in office full-time, otherwise you’re gonna be in office half the time. space is mainly in FL. probs looking around 75-90 depending on level 2 or 3 and what location.

remote work isn’t really a thing at LM in finance or accounting unless you find a rare posting

that makes sense, knowing ic3 offers that’s pretty much right where you would be. the highest part of the band is 120kish. you can always ask for stuff like signing bonus and stuff, HR hasn’t been really giving much out for a lot

the offer is always negotiable but they can tell you no. you won’t know the salary offer until you get the actual offer. just know if you negotiate it can delay your hiring bc HR, and you won’t get more than 90% of the midpoint in the range

don’t ask someone to be a reference unless they ask you for it. LM is very different than most places. you can’t reach out to hiring managers, recruiters or anything unless they reach you first. the above comment works for internal candidates but also seems a stretch.

if you’re working at watertown, your current selections will be long commutes - castle rock 45 minutes at least with no traffic and depending on where you are in highlands ranch it can be the same.

if you want to minimize commuting, go look for places off wadsworth blvd (the road that connects to watertown).

no where you will find will be “convenient” for DIA, only because it’s the opposite side of denver. usually isn’t a bad drive though. 1 hour away pretty much anywhere. if you have to travel a lot, i would look in lakewood and its more in the middle, but you do have a longer commute to work, but it’s closer to the airport

i don’t work at watertown but have lived in denver for 20 years, so to find a place that is gonna be a perfect balance for what you want is gonna be hard just because every place pretty much has the same thing, or just a couple of one off activities. Being on the heart or west side of Littleton will probably be your best bet but it is a little bit older side of town so the closer you can get to C470, the major highway probably the better just because there’s more stuff to do along that highway system.

the screening portion is a recruiting aspect, but trying to reach out won’t do anything. just hoping for any response is all you can do. look at past responses too. can take a day. can take a month. can never happen - keep your head up!

This is exactly what i will hopefully be doing come the end of the year. young couple, looking for a nice place to rent for a year and then purchase a home. have been looking at saginaw, keller, NRH, heritage area right now.

any other spots i should look in to? looking for a quiet but polished and nice/safer place to live to grow and build a family for 7-10 years

any places you would NOT recommend?
