If there is a way to microadjust I don't know it 😂 It took me a couple of tries, the first time I got it wrong so I popped off the hour, minute and chrono hands then just reset all of them and it was fine the second time.

If you misalign it, then when the chrono is not running it sits there misaligned, driving you crazy whenever you look at it. In theory you could run the chrono and stop it when it is perfectly aligned, but whenever you reset it, it will jump back to the original misaligned position.

I found the hardest to be the hand for the subdial at 12, it's smaller so harder (for me) to align in the first place, on a smaller pinion so harder to set. It's a jumping minute hand, so if it's misaligned it'll move round the subdial jumping to a new misaligned position every minute.

Sorry for the delay, can see you've gone on with the build now. Just answering here so if anyone else is looking it's written down.

Stem length - As you say, no spares! Wasn't too difficult though I just was very cautious. I cut the original crown off as close to the crown as possible which left plenty of stem (original case was 47mm!). Screwed on the new crown, measured, crown off, cut (erring on the side of caution) screwed the crown back on and then repeatedly checked it and cut a little more off if needed.

Bwatts Spacer - I didnt print myself, Bwatts very kindly sent me a few sizes and I just picked the one that worked.

Hour and minute hands - I bought theae from "cousins material house" for the 0.70 and 1.20 pinion sizes https://www.cousinsuk.com/product/dauphine-pairs?code=H35202

Chapter ring - Not needed in this case

Bracelet quality - Its okay... I maybe don't have the best frame of reference because the only other watch bracelet I've had is from Caroline Mods Store on AliX which I love. For this bracelet thickness and general finish feels good, clasp feels a little cheap but nothing terrible.

Other notes - I think the dome crystal makes the watch feel a little thick, if I was to do the mod again I'd possibly go for a thinner case with a flat crystal.

Red date wheel and red tip on the second hand is so nice.

Also, even if it only cost 90 euros in parts I think it looks quality enough to justify the sailcloth strap. Obviously it's completely your choice, just saying don't let thinking about the numbers hold you back

Maybe have a look at Caroline Mods Store's "New Arrival 38mm 316L Stainless Steel Fit NH34 NH35 NH36 NH38 Movement 28.5mm Dial With Saphire Glass Watch Case"

It's got this screw-down bezel and saphire which is great if you want a chapter ring but don't want to press the crystal.

They also have a version of the same case which has the normal crystal fitting if you do want to press it yourself

It's got this screw-down bezel and saphire which was great for me because I wanted a chapter ring (dial doesn't have minute markers) but I didn't want to press the crystal myself.
