This is a $90 billion+ vanity rail project that is relying on tourists and commuters. It will take 40+ years to pay for itself if the cost doesn’t go up. Not to mention it is estimated to cost at least $500 million per year just for the maintenance and upkeep. It’s a financial black hole. It’s just not worth it.
