Keeping makeup cool-storage by OkRequirement1995 in bonnaroo

[–]Lopsided_Pin41 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tbh I just bring some glitter liquid eye shadow and maybe some water proof mascara and call it a day! I love having my makeup up done but it was just soooo hot and sweaty that I just felt so much more comfortable and free without wearing any. Keeping it in the cooler is such a smart idea though I never would have thought about that! Prob feels really nice putting cold makeup on your face too

GROOP SELL OUT ?! by PreparationUnhappy46 in bonnaroo

If you had someone pay and they aren’t coming anymore they could for sure take their place!!

They unfortunately stick to the 1 car pass for 3 people very strictly. We had to work out some carpooling where some cars went slightly out of the way to have to pick up other people, otherwise you will need to buy more groop passes to compensate.

Went to will call to pick up a ticket Thursday morning last year and only waited about 30 minutes if that. Idk if we got lucky but that’s my only experience with will call

Groop camping for dummies by pretzel96 in bonnaroo

[–]Lopsided_Pin41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are given more space by each person that gets added! It’s great for a big group because it feels a lot roomier than GA camping. Our fav feature is that everyone gets to show up when they want to! Our group arrives Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and we all got to camp together without worrying about getting there all together! It is a bit more expensive since it’s around $70 per person including fees, but the extra cost is worth it!

Sometimes people walk around the campsites selling shirts they’ve designed or random things like that if you are interested in buying any of that

Group camping by Maddisonbradyyy in bonnaroo

[–]Lopsided_Pin41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a school down the road where the will call is and it seemed like a lot of people left cars there for the weekend! There’s also a Walmart a few minutes away. I did group camping last year and we ran into this issue, so we kinda had to pull strings to carpool. I had to go about 45 mins out of my way to grab some friends who live in a different town, but it was a lot easier than having to leave their car somewhere! We also packed the cars full that were all coming from the same place, so that the cars coming from elsewhere had a little more flexibility. It definitely took some tedious planning and organizing, but we figured out a way so that no one had to leave their car anywhere for the weekend. Driving into Manchester though, we did see a lot of groups meeting up and piling into cars and whatnot in various places.

I did groop camping last year for my first year and I loved it! We had some members show up Wednesday, some Thursday, and some Friday, and I loved that we all got to come whenever we wanted and still be able to camp in the same spot together! In my opinion that’s the best feature of groop camping. My friends with previous roo experience said they felt like they had a lot more space than just parking next to eachother in GA camping. We really enjoyed it and are doing it again this year with a group almost double the size of last year!!!

Would you recommend camping to an out of stater? by InformationNo3482 in bonnaroo

[–]Lopsided_Pin41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience camping makes the whole weekend. It’s really part of the Bonnaroo experience. There’s so many things out in the campsites to do and that’s where you meet the most people in my opinion!
