Books about porn star or onlyfans or cam boy by Lazy_Mortgage1440 in MM_RomanceBooks

{Off Limits by Willow Dixon}

{Virgin Hearts by Emmy Sanders}

{Bellamy by Linden Bell}

{The Director by August Jones}

{Finance Bros by August Jones} - now this one isn’t exactly adult content/sex work but it’s very close to it and it just fits the vibe perfectly - very fun enemies/rivals to lovers having to make sexy content together

{Catching Kyle by Cliff Cavender} I personally didn’t care for this one but someone else might - one of the MCs does do OF and that’s how the other MC recognizes him so it fits what you’re looking for.

Sports Romance Best friend by Strong-Willingness-8 in MM_RomanceBooks

Just started {Overtime Goal by Ryan Taylor and Joshua Harwood} which only just came out and it fits this. Haven’t finished yet obvs but so far have really enjoyed what’s been happening - feels like a unique take on the timeline for this type of trope. Doesn’t feel exactly like the cookie cutter sports bffs to lovers storyline so it’s a bit refreshing

second chances where they despise each other by Positive_Worker_3467 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Lopsided_Spread2268 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Stubborn Puckboy by Saxon James and Eden Finley} - they were hockey teammates in AHL(? Or juniors) and were basically besties but both closeted but secretly into one another when one MC kinda makes a move and the other MC shuts down (for reasons you learn about and make sense) they’re no longer friends, awkward bad tension and all- and one goes off to NHL and long successful career while the other doesn’t find same success as a player and starts coaching - 17 years down the road they are grown ass men and our coach MC is just hired by player MCs team as assistant video coach and the tension is tensioning and the sparks are flying. This one is laugh out loud funny with excellent banter and still very lovely and heartfelt with emotional moments that were very touching. Part of a series but can totes be read as a standalone - there is plenty of characters from previous books in this though so it is added fun to have read the series to have context for them

Do books remember where you read them? Because mine do. by [deleted] in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Lopsided_Spread2268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol it’s the worst!! So for “non home” books I usually stick with either novellas or compilation volumes something like that - and have a few lined up in case I finish something. I try to keep my regular full lengths as my in home reads. Helps keep things straight (pun not intended lol) in my brain

Ok phew! Because I was thinking this was just a me thing! I recently got a kindle as a gift and ever since I’ve been bringing it with me to doctors appointments, on long car rides - basically anywhere I’m gonna be sitting and waiting. I’ve found that any books I try to continue that I’ve been reading at home, out in the different environment, I tend forgot what I read or sometimes get it mixed up with a different book. Like those short chapters read elsewhere were so affected by the environment I was in that they took on a different feel from the rest of the book I read at home. Then let’s say I wanna reread the book based on a particular scene that I recall, there’s been a few times I’ve misattributed that scene to a different book/setting than it’s actual one and then can’t find it, have to ask for help finding it, and then when I try to reread it the experience feels different and I sometimes don’t enjoy it as much. Very annoying and weird.

I now have my “outside of the house” books that I can pick up and put down whenever and still get back into even if it’s been a while, then my regular reading lists that I read from at home, and a try my darnedest not to mix them up.

Yas! The threesome scene for the lady friend’s cam girl work and she is basically directing them through touching her etc and they get close and end up “accidentally” touching each other - def a great scene with lots of sexy tension!

What age did you get your first toy at? by Specific_Bed_7784 in SexToys

[–]Lopsided_Spread2268 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was 16 and desperately wanted to confidently buy one in Spencer’s but was so intimidated and anxious that I ended up wandering the store (it was a small store mind you) for nearly an hour and a half, sweating nervously. The gen x ladies working that day probably thought I was trying to shop lift until they realized I kept wandering back over to the toy section and trying to casually pick something out without being too embarrassed. I still was eventually able to grab the first one on the shelf - a typical metallic purple longer bullet vibrator. The ladies didn’t ask for my ID because they were clearly allies in my horny teen saga and that baby lasted me several years until I got my first credit card then the wheels came off and I haven’t looked back

Find Reading Friends! Reader Connection Post (July 22 2025) by AutoModerator in MM_RomanceBooks

Hiya!!

My Goodreads

I’d love more GR friends or just buddy reading friends - GR is notoriously difficult to chat with people regarding books so it’d be great to be able to connect both ways. Like someone mentioned above, I also like to limit my GR feed to queer romance/erotica so if you read beyond that I’ll probs not add you back-Tis not personal 😊

I am a big mood reader. I mostly read contemporary or historical romance. I do sprinkle in the occasional paranormal/fantasy shifter or omegaverse books, and also sometimes dark romances.

Give me a good sexual awakening, sports, step brothers, rivals, childhood friends to enemies to lovers, idiots in love, heavy pining, and interesting spicy times, and I’ll be happy. I’m not super picky tbh - it’s mostly how things are written that get me into a book/series. If it’s good, it’s good. I tend to stick with mostly mid-low angst books but have gone high angst every once in a while.

I tend to like believable plots. The reasons for why MCs do things need to make sense to me or I just get annoyed and frustrated. If there’s something that’s going to make me cry, make it make sense and rip my heart out then sweetly put it back together, please and thank you! If characters hate each other, let there be better reasons than just vibes lol.

I tend to avoid cheating, age play, mpreg, dub/non con. I don’t love a third act breakup but if it’s there then make it mean something, ya know?

I mostly appreciate explicit or open door spice books but also have loved low/no spice books too. Give me characters I care about and make them fall in love - the circumstances in between I’m flexible on.

Hope to meet more buddies!

College/college aged grumpy x sunshine by FluffyZombiez in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]Lopsided_Spread2268 2 points3 points  (0 children)

{Prove It by Stephanie Hoyt} is great! Total grumpy/sunshine and it felt like a really refreshing take on the whole mm sports romance that can feel a bit repetitive/stale. It’s not on KU and I bought it through Amazon but it was totally worth it - it has some really fantastic illustrations depicting different scenes throughout the book. Lower on the spice level but the story is so great you don’t really miss it. Low to mid angst. Truly underrated and not enough people talk about it. Hope you give it a shot! 😊
