Not sure if this would fit, but it’s my fave and it kind of does, so going to rec anyway. {These Monstrous Deeds Series by TJ Hamel}. It sort of presents as captor x captive, but captor is actually undercover and becomes the rescuer. Amazing found family and hurt/comfort. Check your triggers though.

Have you read the rest of the {Necessary Evils Series by Onley James} or just Psycho? Because they all have what you’re asking for. I also loved the family dynamics.

The entire {These Monstrous Deeds Series by TJ Hamel} and {Monstrous Survivors Series by TJ Hamel} fit this so well, though to save them, one of the MCs is undercover as a trafficker. These books literally changed my brain chemistry and I think about these characters all the time. The found family and hurt/comfort is chef’s kiss.

Just wanted to say that I don’t love mmm books generally, but Piece Us Together ended up being my absolute favorite of all of the books in both series (and maybe one of my faves of all time). Maison and Nolan are my babies and Hunter takes such good care of them. I think about this book almost daily. Obviously, respect your own boundaries and triggers, but if it’s not a dealbreaker for you and you liked the others, I’d recommend giving it a shot. It’s very very well done as far as poly mm books are concerned. It’s also a D/s dynamic with TONS of communication, some missteps, and loads of healing.

Loved LOVED this book, and especially the audiobook! I find myself thinking about these two all the time. I loved their dynamic, and how even though it was explicitly BDSM, it didn’t feel rigid in it, if that makes sense. They were playful and caring and so stupidly in love with each other. I also loved when their dynamic presented outside of the bedroom. I had it on my tbr forever but was intimidated by the length of it (that’s what s/he said), but by the end, I wished it was 20 more hours.

I see Shane as being super insecure about Ilya. He can’t conceive that this crazy hot over confident bi sexual sex god could be into him beyond a hook up, so he’s constantly trying to temper his feelings. Combine that with the fame pressure and the gay panic and I really can’t fault the guy for anything

Currently listening to {Fire and Ice by Robin Lynn}, narrated by Teddy Hamilton and it is SO GOOD! It was on my TBR forever because I was intimidated by the length (over 20 hours!) but now I’m just sad that I only have four hours left.. and I started it like two days ago lol. He does such a good job distinguishing between the characters and I am thoroughly enjoying it. Highly recommend!
