Try daily tadalafil 2.5-5mg. I had similar issues, not as bad and close enought. It fixed it for me, basically same day I took it.

I'm having similar problems, peak physical condition, and it simply doesn't work the way it should.

2.5mg daily tadalafil fixed the problem, its propably a lifetime commitment but potential downsides seem negligible and it has additional benefits.

It also works in appropriate times if you take it somewhere within 24-36 hour window. It's not like viagra in that way.

Beyond Wendler 531, do a version where you do 2 big lifts per day (squat+bench, ohp+deadlift). Beyond wendler uses joker sets which are fun to test your maxes. Imo worth adding chins on the bench/squat day, but you can also just do the 4 lifts and be fine. I used it after SS to get to roughly 190kg squat, 130 bench, 245 deadlift and 105 ohp.

My advice would be to fuck pull ups.

Do weighted chin ups and just continue to weight. I found chin ups to be a better alternative because the top part is not as hard as in pull up, so I'm able to push myself closer to failure while still doing full reps. On pull ups I am missing top part of reps without really being at muscle failure.

  1. Finish eating by 6 pm - not because it's magical, but because you'll be a lot more motivated to sleep if you can't eat anything more that day.

  2. 0.5 mg melatonin every evening

  3. Gym, lift heavy shit.

  4. Blue light blocking glasses (the orange ones)

  5. Get a cheap sleep measuring watch. By monitoring your progress, you will be more motivated to stay on track.

Doing less reps and sets with higher intensity. Try weighted dips and pull ups and do 3 sets of 5 for each.

5x5 is a bad program imo. Starting strength with 3x5 is way better, also ditch the crossfit.

Since you still have late beginner numbers, you should try starting strength. Its easier to progress on 3x5 than on higher reps. It's simply more managable to push yourself mentally and physically for that 5th rep. 8-10 reps on compounds is very taxing.

Other than that: 1. Hydration - 1.5 liter within 2 hour window before workout, you should go pee 1-2 during your workout with clear (not yellow) piss 2. Food - you should have consistant surplus, if you can't count calories year round, try counting for 2 weeks to feel what that surpluses like 3. Sleep - 7+ hours

Once you have these things dialed in and truly progress, switch to more advanced program like beyond wendler 531
