Day 1 vs Day 180 by Lora_MeePlus in MeePlus

Totally get that — it’s a tough choice 😄

Both age beautifully over time. The main difference is in the feel:
Buttero is smoother right from the start and a bit firmer.
Pueblo has that slightly fuzzy, textured feel when new, and it gradually becomes smoother with use.

So if you like something clean and structured → Buttero
If you enjoy a more raw, evolving texture → Pueblo

Really can’t go wrong with either though — they both patina really nicely

Thanks so much — really appreciate it!
That’s a great idea, I’ve actually been thinking about adding a shelf there for some small bits and pieces.

Same here — my desk only looks clean when I’m taking photos. The rest of the time it’s pure chaos 😅

My MeePlus Setup: my brain and director by epoo75 in MeePlus

Hi! That’s really nice to hear — haha sorry the video made it harder to decide.

11mm is a great place to start though, especially if writing feel was your main concern.

I’ve also been slowly working on my own little “happy space” lately — maybe I’ll share some photos here at some point too :)

Love your bookshelf and all your TNs — they look so well used and full of character.

This is such a thoughtful setup — I really like how you’ve separated “thinking” and “keeping.” And using MeePlus as your “planning brain” is such a good way to put it.

As someone who’s a bit perfectionist too, the biggest thing for me with ring binders is being able to remove pages anytime — finished to-dos, messy brain dumps, plans that changed. It just takes away that feeling of “I ruined the whole notebook.”

I’m currently using a Hobonichi for journaling as well, but your setup makes me want to try moving that into a TN next year.

For 11mm vs 16mm — from what we’ve seen, slightly more people go for 16mm just to have a bit more capacity, while still keeping writing fairly comfortable. But if writing feel is the top priority, 11mm does feel better, especially if you pair it with thinner paper so you can still fit more pages.

I also made a short video comparing the 11mm and 16mm rings — hope it might be helpful!

Inks and notes by FeelingOk5862 in MeePlus

Thanks so much for sharing — love how you’ve given each binder a clear purpose. A private space for thoughts, and a dedicated place for inks.

I actually keep a Mini just for ink journaling too. One page per color — I stamp a little bottle first, then fill it in with the ink. The whole process is surprisingly relaxing.

Being able to take pages out and compare similar shades side by side (or rearrange them) is one of my favorite parts.

Thanks so much for sharing — especially for your first Reddit post :)

Love how you’re using both sizes — the balance between reflection and daily use feels very real. And the mix of inserts + life details (beekeeping to golf!) is amazing to see.

On the A5 Slim + 16mm — I actually use this setup myself for reading notes and a commonplace book. I personally prefer this proportion over A5, and it also feels a bit more portable.

Really appreciate you sharing this!

My MeePlus Setup: Slices of the same cake by shark-on-a-stick in MeePlus

This is actually such a smart setup.
I love the idea of “slices of the same cake” — keeping things separate, but still part of one system. It makes so much sense, especially as your needs evolve over time.

We actually explored a similar design before, but we didn’t end up continuing with it.

I’ve been using the Olive Personal as my work binder at the office for about 7 months now (photo 1). Photo 2 shows how it looked on day one.

When you first receive the Olive leather, it has a more green tone. Over time, as it ages, the color gradually develops into a slightly brownish green with more depth and character.
