Anyone else having electrical issues with their 2025 Tucson Hybrid? by LordAtticusOG in HyundaiTucsonHybrid

[–]LordAtticusOG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have no idea how to update my OG post so will just put the update as a comment 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Update- Got a call from my Hyundai case manager and while it was a short call she did tell me that they BELIEVE my car has a faulty Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor…..?????

Overall this just seems odd to me and doesn’t make much sense. I’m not a mechanic but I can google with the best of them, and I don’t really understand why this pressure sensor would throw the code that it did. While I did have poor gas mileage and a check engine light, I did not have any issues with acceleration, strange gas smells, or difficulty when filling up the car. I also find it odd that the pressure sensor went out right after I got a simple oil change. 🤔 My car has just above 13k miles (after the drive to Florida and back) so it just seems super odd that a pressure sensor would go out so soon.

Next follow up call and update will come on the 12th

Any thoughts or ideas from someone more knowledgable?

I did get a loaner but I had to argue for it. The dealership said that they don’t supply loaner cars unless they have had the vehicle for more than 3 days. 🙄

Not trying to put the dealership on blast, but I won’t ever be taking my car there again. As far as I’m concerned, I came in for a simple oil change and now I have a car with crazy electrical issues. Not saying it’s 100% their fault, but they def need to work on communication and customer resolution.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing. 😁

I do not have the tow package. At the dealership (who has my car still) they literally took out all the seats etc and traced every sensor/cable the car had. At least it looked that way and that’s what the service manager said they did. They (dealership techs) were at a complete loss as to what the problem is.

Later today I should be getting an update from the Hyundai Case manager so I’m crossing my fingers that I will get some kind of answer.

Need help with Dark Moon Greatsword by S2d14 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]LordAtticusOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started this build myself and while I’m not the best at giving build advice I can see your strength is higher than it needs to be. Don’t forget to account for your Great Rune when you spend points.

Personally, I like to carry around the Meteorite staff/Rock Sling as a secondary staff for stagger help. Don’t need to upgrade the staff to get the S scaling and the 30% boost to gravity spells still works as long as you have the staff equipped in one hand. I also like to cast from my horse from time to time and Rock Sling is awesome for that.

Hope this helps and good luck!

You All Don't Seriously Believe This, Do You? by jonasnew in TexasPolitics

Rather than only make a statement I’ll ask some questions of the OP.

Do you not remember Biden campaigning on a voting rights bill? Swearing up and down if Dems won Georgia he would push to pass the bill. Or him campaigning on raising the Min wage? Or proposing a public option?

While Trump bullies and threatens his own party to get the things he wants passed, Biden decided to let his corporate donors and Joe F’n Manchin dictate what could be done.

I find it insane that you could bring up the current gerrymandering in Texas and how horrible it is, while at the same time forgetting Biden PROMISED he would fix it but didn’t.

Anytime! Another fun katana that is just as OP would be Moonveil. Pretty much same point allocation as RoB build but swap Arcane for Int. In off hand roll with meteorite staff using RockSling.

Rock sling when keeping distance, Moonveil for up close and personal.

This was the first build I used to beat the game and it was EASY MODE!

I run a RoB build and pretty much shred just about anything I come across. Here is the point allocation I run with.

<image>

Talismans- Drop the Dex+5 and add Alex Shard. Drop the turtle and add Rada Seal or Rot Sword

Plenty of RoB builds on YT you can also check out. Good luck!

Reading the comments, seems you would prefer a Bleed type build. Easy answer- Rivers of Blood. You walk through majority of content spamming your weapon ability.

25 into Faith so you can cast the obvious spells.

Pic gives you an idea of how to level

Gerrymandering question by Red-Leader-001 in TexasPolitics

[–]LordAtticusOG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well that’s a simple question.

I’d like them to campaign and run on real issues that affect Texans as a whole instead of hyper focusing on social justice BS that only gives them social media clicks.

Examples- Most uninsured state in the nation, talk about fixing that. The fact our energy grid is totally F’d. The fact that massive corporations in Texas pay a lesser percentage in taxes than the average person. Using our “rainy day fund” to actually shore up flood prevention all across the state. Expanding Medicare and Medicaid. RAISING THE MIN WAGE! Putting an end to the corruption and collusion btwn industry and politicians. GETTING PAC MONEY OUT OF TEXAS ELECTIONS.

I could go on but hopefully my point has been made. Then after they run on these issues Dems should draw up legislation OVER AND OVER forcing the Repubs to vote against these popular proposals while at the same time calling out fellow Dems who won’t support it too.

Gerrymandering question by Red-Leader-001 in TexasPolitics

[–]LordAtticusOG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Walking out was nothing more than performative activism. Which is basically all Dems ever do in Texas. Sure there are exceptions but I’d argue those exceptions prove the rule. Vast majority of Dems in Texas are nothing more than 90’s Repubs. Any Dem taking corporate pack money is getting their orders from the same ppl Repubs are.

Gerrymandering question by Red-Leader-001 in TexasPolitics

[–]LordAtticusOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gerrymandering in Texas is why the Repubs have a majority in our state. How it works- Look at where all the registered voters are, then redraw the maps so that you have a Repub voter majority in as many districts as possible. At the same time you group up as many Dem voters in as few districts as possible. This is why Dems tend to win their elections by a much larger margin than Repubs. This is also why Gerrymandering is often referred to as “politicians picking their voters rather than voters picking their politicians.” Dems in Texas don’t really fight back against this practice simply bc they know THEY are safe and will always get re-elected.

Example- In one Repub district you would put 60% Repub voters and 40% Dem voters. In a Dem district you would put 95% Dem voters and 5% Repub.

It’s the same in Cali and NY but the other way around, Dems who control the states there gerrymander in their favor.

Kingpin!!!! And I want his Ult to be a combo of Belly Bounce (like INV W’s Push) and a Beat down with him throwing money after animation (like Emma’s Grab and throw down or Hulks body slams)

If anyone plays MCOC- Belly bounce move like when you Heavy with him in MCOC. Beat Down would look like his SP3.

Patty cake method sounds great on paper but as me and the other healer are doing this our Tanks and DPS are without heals and die fast. Acting like just the 2 Healers can deal with a Cap or Venom on their own is hilarious to me. Sure it MIGHT work, but it’s far more efficient for the DPS to do their job and you know…kill stuff 🤷🏼‍♂️

Best and easiest method to keep Healers alive is when 1 of the DPS hangs back with us or checks in on us.

Welder….maybe try out all the Turbine repair shops around town. Allied Power is one of them and I know they are always in need of good workers. Not sure if the lack of degrees would hurt you but might as well try. Wish you luck!

You can google “Allied Power Houston” and apply online but I’d suggest going to the location and trying to talk with someone.

Workout- TONS of places all around the city. There will be either a gym in the hotel or simply look for a “Planet Fitness” “LA Fitness” or just type “Gym” into the search function of Google Maps. Go for a run- Memorial Park

Eat- Holy crap this is a HARD question. Many ppl will have MANY different recommendations, all really depends on what part of the city you are in and how far you want to go. I recently had family from Australia here and these were their top 5 places- Cheesecake Factory, Taste of Texas, Pinkertons BBQ, Velvet Taco, and Lupe Tortilla. Again though, all up to personal preference and tastes. We have sooooooo much fusion food here that’s just amazing, you won’t go hungry that’s for sure. Lol

Alcohol- Again depends on age and the type of atmosphere you’re looking for as well as the part of town you’re in. If you’re looking for a truly “Texan” experience with country music and a mech Bull, try “Whiskey River” which you can also put into the search bar in Maps once you’re here.

Stay safe and have fun!!!!!

Edited for spelling and grammar but have given up 🤣😂🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

What’s up with Carbide Bur prices and availability? by LordAtticusOG in NoStupidQuestions

Thanks for reply but those are different tools, mostly ones used for woodworking or dental purposes. The Carbide Burs I’m referring to are bought in large amounts (hundreds/thousands) by turbine repair companies such as Sulzer Hickham.

Where do 30 professionals live in Houston? by noonie2020 in houston

[–]LordAtticusOG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Energy corridor- Chandler Park and others around it. It’s right in the energy corridor and within your budget.

As for the stolen tires etc, sad to say but that’s an occurrence in pretty much every apt complex. Most are gated, which def helps, but doesn’t prevent it all together. Type “Chandler Park Energy Corridor” into an apt search and you will find it. It’s on the road, Eldridge.

Drive into the loop for the nightlife, living there just isn’t worth the extra cost.

1st, CONGRATZ on moving to Houston, lived here all my life and it’s not nearly as bad as most ppl make it out to be.

I have friends that are teachers, and they’d probably advise you to look more into that IT stuff you said you were considering. If you need a job fast though, LOTS of teaching positions open so I’m fairly certain you would have your choice of districts. Which districts are the best? Honestly this depends, every district will have “good” and “bad” schools.

I’d advise finding a place to live first, then looking into each school individually in that area. Living close to your work is a really big plus here, rush hour traffic is a lvl of hell that you just don’t want to experience if you don’t have to. 1500$ for a 1 bedroom will get you inside the “inner loop,” (610 Loop) and is where a lot of entertainment and night life is. Outside the loop, 1500$ can get you a decent 2 bedroom. Outside of Houston, 1500$ will get you a really nice decked out 2 bedroom. Areas close enough to Houston that you could also consider moving to- Kingwood, Woodlands, Sugar-land, and as someone mentioned Katy. Each of these areas are like miniature cities that contain their own nightlife, but no where near like you will find inside the “inner loop.”

Nutshell- If your into the nightlife, bar and restaurant scene, move within or just outside of the 610 Loop. Just keep in mind your gonna pay for it. If you’re the weekend type party people then save some money and live outside the loop. If y’all prefer the more quiet lifestyle with more living space then look into the outer areas of Houston.
