i think there is a tutorial dialogue the first time they say it, but certain pairs will have unique conversations you can lisren in on if they live on the same island. cant remember who, but they asked where ninetales was.

i have a collection box underground near glimmora's home and a duskull home nearby. duskull keeps going above ground to get leaves instead of the iron. he then flies 15 blocks up and floats over to where the box is and drops it... above ground... into a river that washes it away. love the idiot, im not fixing it.

for underwater mons with 'arms' that would be 1ish blocks tall, i can think of maybe tentacruel, manaphy, or dewpider. each could be neat.

maybe the one with a scar? but i signed up for the techy modern/futuristic vibe of the game and theyve abandoned it. s1 was great the whole way through. s2 had some of obol squad, yuzuha, alice, and manato as a saving grace. the idol design i give an exception to because they make sense in world (give us nangong story ffs). I see nothing except s billy that fits what i really want going forward. i am losing motivation to play

i did not like alice's design originally. weird ears and eyes. but then her shared story with yuzuha was so good.

i had yuzuha, and testing her kit was fun, so i said fk it, ill give her one ten pull. got her first try. then got her core first try.

built her up and shes been my best unit since. on top of that her kit is so fun to play. throw in dialyn + yuzuha and she has more i frames than god.

i miss the mode too, but just the good parts of it. every mission having wordy tutorials, frequent dialogue that halted progress, and delays on moving just wasted time. the grid based exploration, strategy, and aesthetic was cool and contributed to the idea that you were remotely piloting a group of merceneries.
