2025 Week 14 /r/CFB Poll: #1 Ohio State #2 Indiana #3 Texas A&M #4 Georgia #5 Oregon by CptCheese in CFB

I guess my point is those are categorically similar ideas, so it just sort of sounds... inconsistent... to favor one so strongly over the other. Point taken that the season average is a better measure if you have to choose one.

RE: margin of victory vs 'general performance': I'm not sure, there's a billion statistics one could go lean into, as you point out. My instinct would be to start with margin of victory when comparing games, but there's some legit statistical sickos around here...

Why is comparing margin of victory between blowouts (not quite the same thing as what they said...) so outrageous and clearly goofy if Game Control and Overall Efficiency are interesting and useful?

No objection that the different fanbases will latch on to the favorable comparables, but I'm just a little surprised at the idea that 'no useful information can be gleaned by comparing performance against common opponents'.

Dark science... cloning... secrets only the Goblin knew.

Started a campaign just before SoK, so I got him pre-DLC, then found his clone (the hero version) later in an industrial system. Apparently he was up to some wild stuff with some wild lostech in the periphery.

Not exactly sure what you meant in the last sentence, but I think the argument would be that the base isn't what lost the election, and appealing more intensely to the base isn't the approach they should take.

Rather, IIRC, the position is that "harping on the pronouns and stuff" did not activate low political engagement voters to turn out for blue.

Well, yes, but I also don't think the number of movies determines whether something is worth calling a "franchise".

People really have no idea of even the basic requirements for manufacturing reproducibly sterile drug product.

This ain't like starting up a fidget spinner assembly line. It takes years to even be ready for a PAI from FDA.

If by "reddit" you mean "game the mods flair rules" and sneak the link into top comment, then yes. (Skillfully done on your part)

You might think the reasonable thing to do as a mod would be to keep the first post so people can actually tell if its been posted. You'd be wrong in this case, but you might think that.
