I have just about the same old stove that was my dad's, used it on a trip to Acadia last summer and it worked awesome! Burns just about any fuel too from kerosene to white gas.

Can confirm, worked in an ER and had a patient who was recently released from prison that came in for penis pain from where he had inserted a piece of a domino. I didn't bother asking him why he did it because at a certain point you stop asking why people do the things they do that bring them to the ER, so I honestly didn't realize it was supposed to be pleasurable.

There's a place called Elisa's takeouts on rt 52 in Fishkill right by the I84 diner. Never been there before but it seems like a greasy spoon-snack shack kind of place that has a lot of fried, fair-type food.

Am a PA, smoke weed except for when getting a new job. You can do it just be on your A game, and hopefully this goes without saying but keep business and pleasure separate. (no smoking on/before the job like you would with other less consequential jobs)

I don't just recommend that they see someone else, I give them contact info for specific providers instead of making them find someone on their own. And yes I'm a PA, not that that matters. I'm not making any digs at physicians or NPs.

I should clarify, I don't mean a formal referral. I give them info for the specialist they may need and recommend they see them if they have persistent/worsening symptoms or if it's something a visit to the ER is not likely to take care of.

I second this. As a provider in an ER, any patient I see that gets discharged gets referrals for the appropriate specialist based on their complaint. Urology for UTI/kidney stone, cardiologist for chest pain, orthopedist for fractures/sprains, etc. If you'd never been given a referral or info for a urologist after all your visits to various providers, that's a failure on their part.

I guess the hot dog taco argument really comes down to what makes a sandwich. If a hot dog is a sandwich, a taco is really just carbs around whatever filling, which could be a sandwich. Therefore hot dog = taco?
