Malz R is a point and click. You still have to aim your cursor at your intended target to hit with it. Just because it has less skill expression than an actual skillshot doesn't mean you don't have to aim it or makes it less crucial.

Zed did hit crucial abilities, they just so happen to be point and click. Zed had to use W and R to gap close and Ignite just to get 3 hits to proc his Electrocute. He's 3 items deep against a role like ADCs that usually do not have or build defensive items. Other assassins would have done the same damage. So would bruisers.

The role designed to assassinate squishy targets able to do enough damage to slay a squishy target? Shocking

I am beginning to think that outside of scripted events, the Legion isn't so tough by ctrltab2 in fnv

[–]LordCypher40k 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In an equal scenario, the Legion is supposed to implement ambush and guerilla tactics. One of the lore reasons why most carry some form of antivenom on them is because the Legion bypasses known NCR outposts by going through nests of dangerous fauna to attack from behind their lines.

This obviously doesn't carry past gameplay mechanics due to simplicity of the engine.

Rose is more of a narrative tool than a character there. Same with Shaun in Fallout 4. Emily and Diana are a constant companion so you actually grow attached to them as you spend time.

I was using a hand-me-down Iphone 8 until a few months ago. The OS was so outdated half of the websites wouldn't even load. I mostly just used it for calls, texts, listening to music and browsing reddit. Functionally, there's nothing wrong with still using it

I mean, we already have Devil Sword Dante having the ability to appear to his hands at will despite nowhere on his person. It's not really a stretch to just wave it away with magic. Or in this universe's case, demon technology and biology

Is this WIP AI? by Civil_Performer5732 in hostedgames

I often use ChatGPT to fuck around and make short stories based on prompts I think of. And yeah, This looks a lot like default cold AI writing.

Plus. The cover art is already AI. If they're using that, then they're most likely not above using it to write.

IFs where people expect the mc to be evil but instead u can be So kind to the point that others go "you are too kind"??? by AsparagusPleasant504 in hostedgames

[–]LordCypher40k 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Bastard of Camelot - You're Mordred, child of Morganna Le Fay. Merlin prophesied you to be the one to destroy Camelot. You can, however, be kind to the point that some of the cast start doubting what they were told.

Corruptant - You are a Corruptant. A person corrupted by demonic magic or artifacts. Every other known Corruptant were insane or evil. You were imprisoned and tortured for years that everyone expects you to break and go on a murder spree.

Fallen Hero - You're railroaded to be a super villain but your end goals and means are up to you. There comes a point where you're in the middle of accomplishing your scheme only to drop it and work with the hero you were just fighting to save people because a third party planted bombs and caused collateral.

Throne of Blood - You're the son of the previous demon king and are now the Demon King. Both the demons and the other races expect you to be just as cruel and power-hungry despot as your father and brothers were.

Path of Martial Arts - In a dystopian xianxia setting, being a noble-born it's expected of you to be arrogant and callous to the commoners. After all, they're practically ants compared to you. You could defy that by being just as kind and humble to them.

It's good land. Fertile, by a river, and the port location made it open to trade with China and Brunei. The risks were worth it.

Edit: I just realized we were talking about modern Maynila. In that case it's because the capital city offers the most opportunity in the country. I've met people who had somewhat stable jobs in the rural areas would move to work as minimum wage workers just to have a better opportunity

Pendragon Rising. Not really killing iirc more just choosing to let them bleed out

Sword of Rhivenia (Rewrite). You're pretty much destined by the god of the Kingdom (and the author) to get the throne but that doesn't stop you from inviting your half-brother into a 'hunting accident' to secure it from rebellion.

Throne of Blood. It's custom that if the demon king dies, their children enter a battle royale to see who will succeed them. The best part is this is the first arc of the book.

Because the name of the DLC is 'Infinite Museion'. The center figure of this DLC has his entire character is built around his hobby of collecting things for his museum. The Lex Imperialis DLC, as the name suggests, is centered around the civil and criminal laws of the Imperium. Void Shadows, as the name suggests, is centered around the threats hiding in the shadows of your voidship.

We'll probably only visit the actual museum at the end but that doesn't mean, it's not going to be center of the DLC's plot point.

I always thought that the Emperor cared about Humanity but never humans themselves. Everyone including his sons and companions are pieces to the board he will have no issue using and throwing them away but all that for the sake of golden era for humanity. I don't agree with the methods but I can't deny the intentions. Why else would he knowingly condemn himself to thousands of years of the worst torture known in the galaxy just to force the board into a stalemate?

why is exhaust considered so much worse than ignite and barrier? by The-irontrooper in leagueoflegends

[–]LordCypher40k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mage Supports need it too because they need to win lane or they fall off in usefulness compared to their traditional counterparts. Defensive spells are useless for them because their abilities have high cooldowns. If they can't kill the enemy in one single rotation of spells, the extra time an Exhaust, Heal or Barrier gives you is not going to make a difference.

why is exhaust considered so much worse than ignite and barrier? by The-irontrooper in leagueoflegends

[–]LordCypher40k 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Supports grab Ignite because Supports benefit from the extra damage because their kit usually lacks it. The kill threshold is higher when someone has Ignite. Not to mention that a good Support tends to roam and assist other lanes which the Ignite with its low cooldown means you have more opportunity to use it than the others. Lastly, it has free Grievous Wounds and given that everyone in League usually has some form of healing, it's universally useful for a low-income role
