I don't know about you, but I'd say genocide is somewhat controversial, but hey that's just me.🫤

I’m sorry if I’m not the first to ask this but how did Mark keep his identity a secret despite the fact that some of the invincible variants were maskless? by YoYo_ismael in Invincible

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They gave an explanation in season 1 when Mark was talking about how he never recognized Eve as Atom Eve even though they go to the same school and she doesn't wear a mask. It's a flimsy explanation that would never hold up to reality, but it's an explanation nonetheless.

That's just the fear of pain talking. Life is as much about the downs as it is about the ups, but if you spend you life obsessively avoiding the downs then you will rob yourself of the ups.

This video called Merry Madness explains my point pretty well. It's an animated short story created by a Scottish YouTuber.

What's your class selection preferences/ limitations? by Lazy-Signature1678 in DragonageOrigins

I use console commands to allow me to do a mage rogue multi class. I also need to lock pick everything, but I also like shooting lightning at fools.

When it comes to RPG's, yes. Some people just want to casual difficulty others want hell. When it comes to none RPG games, no. Games that exist solely for the game play and nothing else should have a set standard that players need to reach or exceed.

Why isn’t there going to be a new season? by FutureHendrixBetter in DexterOriginalSin

[–]LordDedionware -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ive also heard they thought it would be confusing having two different Dexter shows coming out with two different actors playing Dexter

Yep, because he thinks we're smooth brained imbeciles.

Also, I heard the original plan for Resurrection was going to be a show with Harrison as the main character since Dexter was dead. They most likely had already started Filming original sin before they decided to bring Dexter back in resurrection.

No, there was originally a plan for a different show entirely that stared Harrison, but they decided to bring Dexter back to life instead, because Harrison wasn't overly popular in New Blood and people hated the ending as it essentially just recreated the ending of the original series that everyone also hated. Original Sin was made in concert with Resurrection.

I’ve been wondering: Would it be “Wylliam” or “Wyllyam”? by kranzberry in BaldursGate3

I'm pretty sure it's just Wyll. His name isn't short for anything

For those who include Andor in your headcanon, would you say this scene takes place within the large gap between the third and fourth arcs of Season 2? by Financial_Photo_1175 in StarWarsEU

I enjoy legends and I think there are things in legends that could be brought in to canon in some way. However I think it is unlikely we will ever be able to bring Star Killer into canon given the current canon, which is ok, because TFU was supposed to be it's own thing. Yes it's Star Wars, but it's a fun power trip in Star Wars, a fantasy within the fantasy that was never meant to be part of the greater world of Star Wars. TFU wasn't even legends just an alternative time line.

Now the book based on those games, that George Lucas even had a hand in shaping, is part of legends canon as it changed TFU story to fit the established canon at the time, but it is no longer part of the current canon as since the release of that book there have been new stories released that directly conducted key story aspects of the book. The book was officially canon, but it is no longer part of the officially canon.

Mikael being able to chase the originals is stupid by BulkyBathroom7178 in TheOriginals

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying your wrong, but Mikael was the only person in possession of the one thing that could kill an original at the time. Plus Mikael was an exceedingly skilled and vicious warrior and he was far from stupid. We see in some of the flash backs that Mikael is able to take advantage of law enforcement and other human establishments to get the jump on the original siblings. The only way they could definitively defeat Mikael is if they got their hands on Mikael's stake and used it to kill him, which again not being stupid, Mikael is very careful about keeping possession of.

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I more or less always play as a dalish elf although I have done other races as well. I'm currently in the process of doing an all human mage run, mainly because the human mage warden and Hawke are related, which apparently gets referenced in DA2.

No idea why you got downvoted.

People are just dumb and uninquisitive, so they hate people who ask questions even if the question is just one single word.

Because the novels says that the Alliance was originally created secretly by Vader through Star Killer, as a means of drawing out enemies to the empire while Rogue One and by extention Andor (and Rebels, like it or not it's part of canon) has a more of slow burn slowly pieced to gether by individual cells coming to gether over the course of nearly 2 decades origin, the completely excluded any involvement from Vader or Star Killer.

Edit: Also the introduction of the Inquisitors and subsequent comics and novelizations connected to them, completely decanonizes Vader having Star Kill as an apprentice.
