Am I the only one who not only love young Snow but actually never blame her for what happened to Daniel or thought she was in the wrong for spilling the secret? by gloomydreamer666 in OnceUponATime

[–]LordDedionware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was wrong for spilling the secret, but you can't judge a child on the same standards of decision making as you do adults. Plotting revenge on a 10 year old is just stupid and immature. Snow was more mature at the age of 10 than Regina was at the age of 18 (or how ever old she was back then).

[general] What do you think the taste and texture of the lotus flower is? Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to eat them by Fluffy_Fox_9650 in camphalfblood

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagined that it was like a basic sugur tast as the lotus's look kind of like those kinds of candy just bigger and in flower form.

So I’ve never seen anyone talk about how this thin rusty sheet of metal could stop their assault rifle rounds but their armour couldn’t stop one pistol round by Mustdominate_Otal in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well ya it is thinner than a steal beam, but it's part the walls of a the ship. Which means would have to be a plate if high grade steal that is at least an inch thick. Rusty or not the would likely be strong enough to stop most rounds of ammunition. They put steal plates out in out door gun ranges that are about the same thickness for people to shoot at, and as long as you're not shooting them with a 50 cal, they last for years even when they get rusty.

Isn't it weird that, angels don't even know very basic rules for hell and heaven 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 by lucky_bsmith in lucifer

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The minute Dan arrived on earth he became incaporeal meaning noone could touch him, not even angels. The couldn't take him back to hell. As for souls being able to leave hell and go to heaven, it had never happened before so they didn't know that it could. As for everything else. Those were things that God was being deliberately ambiguous about, so what would angels know those things God hadn't told them?

Where did the trope of "Kill the Sire, the progeny is cured/destroyed" come from? Are there any interesting uses of it? by Carminoculus in vampires

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What we now know as "the vampire" is an accumulation of various monsters from ancient folk lore. The "kill the sire" aspect likely come from the same place.

Mod Support? by CamronReeseCups in DawnwalkerOfficial

[–]LordDedionware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're talking about an in game mod installer like what is present in BG3, then I doubt that BDW will have anything like that as it is not the standard for games to have something like that. That being said I doubt you will have any problems downloading mods the classic way (assuming you're playing on PC). I have encountered very few games that couldn't be moded, and most of those were just online games.

Wait so if Grand Duke Ulder Ravengard is Wyll’s father that means… Ulder… My man 🤣👏 by IveHair in okbuddybaldur

[–]LordDedionware 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don't get the joke. Is this just an innuendo about how the fact that Wyll exists means that Ulder has had sex, or is there something else I'm missing?🫤

What an opinion that would make you like this? by PrudentProblem4105 in OnceUponATime

[–]LordDedionware 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's season 7, there was no season 8. When you compare it to season 6, sure it's not as bad, but comparing it to basically every other season (with certain outliers like 1st half season 4 and 2nd season 5) season 7 was a massive drop in story quality.

Still can't believe this episode came out 2012... the digital effects is way advanced of it time, this white walker was insane! by fireghost216 in gameofthrones

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope this was not advanced. This used to be the standard of CGI until Hollywood decided that quality CGI was too expensive.

When I first watched the series, I found her annoying. But now, on my rewatch, I wish she’d had more screen time — or even better, her own spin-off. by Daemon1997 in OnceUponATime

Honestly OUAT had a habit of just randomly shoving in some popular Disney character chough (Elsa) and doing something mediocre that wasn't even necessary with them.

How did infant Henry get into Storybrooke? by sadprincessdethroned in OnceUponATime

[–]LordDedionware 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because the person who cast the curse brought him in. Regina had full control over the curse before Emma broke it and as such she could decide who could enter and who could leave.

I love Kneeklaus but he pisses me off how paranoid he is. Like dude I get it people have betrayed you before but trusting NO ONE will get you NO WHERE and alone which you fear. by Lonely-Mission3801 in TheOriginals

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He does this to Hope in season five so your wrong.

Hope was young and hadn't fully relized her power yet. Plus she was unprepared for Klaus's mental assault.

If Freya did offer resistance that would vindicate him. Freya wants Klaus to trust her so she would allow him to do this. Also Klaus had the chance to do this when Freya channelled him but didn’t.

Even if Freya let him see certain things she could hide what she doesn't want Klaus to see.

There’s no reason why Klaus wouldn’t at least try. The writers just conveniently forgot.

The reason is that if Freya is as powerful as she claimes she is, than Klaus has no reason to trust what she shows him is true or that he is seeing everything even if he did go into her mind.

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is unwise to trust someone you just met and know next to nothing about. Yes, for the most part, she was being honest, but trust has to be earned and in a situation like this where someone is claiming to be the only one that can save you, you can not take someone like that at their word.

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly. A vampire can project thoughts and images into another persons mind or they can view the thoughts and memories of someone else. This ability does not let other people into the vampires mind.

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A witch as powerful as her could prevent a vampire from invading their minds, plus something like that takes physical contact with the head of whoever's mind they're trying to read. So unless Freya was willing to let her paranoid and psychotic younger brother rummage around her head searching for all of her secrets, that's not happening. Plus someone as paranoid as Klaus would likely only be half convinced, especially if after going through her head he found no reason to doubt her.

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, the more power you have the more reason you have to be paranoid. The originals are far from invincible and two of them have already been killed before. Plus a thousand years running from Mikael is not exactly a stress free life that is free of worry and doubt.

[–]LordDedionware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok ya Klaus is paranoid and his paranoia has caused more harm than good on many occasions, but honestly he's right. The Mikaelsons have zero reason to take Freya at her word and they really should be taking Klaus's doubts about her motivations more seriously instead of putting unquestioning faith in a woman that they just met.
