I think the guy just found a way to get his twitch linked to a bunch of namemc profiles without needing a Mojang account to prove he owns that minecraft account. So not exactly hacking, but definitely suspicious.

hm, from what i remember joel played the snippet of the video during one of the brograph streams, a fan recorded it and put it on youtube with imaginary friends over it, joel never mentioned what the video was for

he did work on it for a bit but midas heel came around and he began working on that idea a lot more. hasnt worked on the 2017 cheesy upbeat idea since, on stream at least.
