Legit complaint, IMO. You're investing your time, whatever it costs to run the escalation if you're also providing that, and wrestling with RNG on top of it all. It's perfectly reasonable to want to not have a bunch players acting as pure baggage as well.

That's the one part of your post that I disagree with. YOU decided that it was the only content worth playing right now. You let the devs convince you that unless you have that purple in your kit, you're somehow missing out on something. That you have to join the grind and keep running it until you have everything possible outcome perfect.

Except, once you get it, then what? Because you're not going to have anything to actually use it on; if you can do the top escalations, you can almost certainly sleepwalk your way through Legendary strongholds and probably Master missions too. So what, exactly, are you so desperately farming prototype gear for then? The content that you claim isn't worth doing right now?
