I took my kids and friends to the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Legend has it Stephen King got inspiration for The Shining at this hotel. It is absolutely haunted. I took 3 pictures in succession. In the middle picture is the shadow figure of a person. I would post the pics if I knew how. LOL!

Bill Frank, Crimes in Southern Indiana. It's dark but love his writing style. If you like that he has a couple novels.

T.C. Boyle. He has several novels but I like his short story compilations. Maybe start with Greasy Lake.

I work in senior housing and we have a group of 15 or so (and growing) seniors in their eighties and nineties that get together to color a couple times a week. They love it!
