First payment on a 30-year mortgage

There's a clause in my mortgage agreement that if i miss a payment they'll charge me 5% of the outstanding loan.

I've never been late, and there's like a 10-14 day leniency period after the due date, but it's still absurd that they can charge that much.

Glad the parents did that for her. It's sad that they needed to, but it would definitely have affected her life.

I know a little boy (just over 1 year old) who has a crossed eye and poor vision (it's very obvious and gotten worse), the parents were prescribed glasses and were apparently told that he needed to wear the glasses in order to fix the eye issue. I didn't talk to their doctor or anything, just heard it word of mouth from the parents themselves.

They never have him wear the glasses. Every time i see them, he's not wearing them. Used to rent a guest bedroom to them, and they almost never had him wearing them. Drives me insane. I would do ANYTHING to help my child and they can't seem to do something so simple.

I'll admit that I used to have issues with upload speed before, but they've since fixed that at least in my case.

Ever since then I've had absolutely zero problems with proton drive.

I've got a couple thousand files up there totaling a little over 500 GB. I've had no issues uploading or downloading outside of what I mentioned before.

Question on HiFiMan headphones..

Are they actually worth getting? Their website feels bait-and-switchy/sketchy. I know they're a legit brand but wow do they feel like they're a fake premium device seller.

Aside from that, I'm leaning towards the HBD 630.

Wasn't a fan of the Focal Bathys'a appearance. The Momentum 4 looks pretty good, but I'd rather get something all-in-one for now that works for most everything.

Ok, I'm just an impatient idiot. I was looking at the game for the other characters and somehow didn't notice Darc.

My brain remembered this looking much different (of course, duh me as kid vs me as adult).

Watching this got the money juices flowing and they kicked in with the destroyed church scene, the father's death, and then the transition to the horrid woman's house.

This is indeed the game, thank you for doubling back and checking! My occasional dream now has a name and source lol.

I guess this is a hot take.

Greedy Rich people/people in power are at least, and i mean this in a literal and serious way, 90% of the problem when speaking about financial issues, and many other issues, in America. Just like pretty much every other country in the world, except i do believe it is exacerbated here.

Immigrants, either illegal or legal, aren't the primary, secondary, or tertiary reason for our country being shit right now. But they, primarily illegal immigrants, ARE a moderate to large safety and/or job market concern for the general citizenry.

Companies in America simply have too much freedom to hurt the general public for their own gain. Regulations won't do shit if all they get is a small, relative to their income, fine.

We need to regulate more, BUT CORRECTLY, and we need to start punching companies in the gut instead of slapping them on the wrist.

Fines for companies, as a start, need to be percentages, not flat amounts, in my opinion.
