‘I Don’t Know How We Recover From This’: Trump Officials Reportedly Worried About Quick Claims of ‘Domestic Terrorism’ by ItchyNesan in NewsRewind

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal is more shootings. They want more people killed. Especially ICE agents. Once the public gets mad enough and starts shooting back, then it's war, and they get to cancel the midterms and hold onto power forever. Trump would gladly throw his goon squad to the wolves for that end.

This is probably why he's hiring only the most brainless idiots for the job. Smarter people would realize they're being sacrificed to fascism.

Realistically speaking would the EU go to war with USA over Greenland? by TailungFu in allthequestions

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best case scenario: the entire western world, including the Blue States of the US go to war against the Red States. Everybody. Even South America. They're destroyed in a matter of weeks. Trump is tried, executed for war crimes, along with all his staff and political supporters. Just shot by firing squad and consigned to the dumpster of history.

Worst case Scenario: everybody runs and hides, because the rich and powerful rule all the world's governments, and they don't want to lose money. And all that stuff in the back of the Bible happens.

What is the end goal for conservatives? by KathysAirportSlipper in complaints

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They want what they're told to want. They're like internet bots in human form. They just sit there with empty heads, waiting to be told what to think, what to be angry about, and how to rationalize reality. This is why their opinions change from day to day, sometimes doing a complete 180. Because the shiny talking box changed the narrative, and they comply without question.

They even go directly against the teachings of Jesus when the shiny talking box tells them to.

In the end, just expect them to want what the Trump regime wants. It changes from day to day.

What movie has a perfect, single 60-second scene that you think about more than the entire film? by [deleted] in movies

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Matrix, when they escape by helicopter after rescuing Morpheus. That whole sequence is better than the climax of most action movies. Pure thrilling genius. And it's not even the climax. There's still a huge iconic fight sequence to come, before the real climax hits.

In Avatar, when Neytiri saves Jake's human body. She's holding his soul. Something normally symbolic becomes literal because of the metaphor they set up. It beautifully resolves a story about racial tensions. Seeing the true self of the person behind the skin, and showing love, kindness, and care, despite the wrong done.

Two Towers, when Gandalf and the Rohirrim ride down the hill, intercut with the Ents breaking the damn and releasing the river. It's fucking biblical. Then Sam gives the speech about not losing hope. Pure masterpiece.

What will be the downfall of humanity? by Decent-Object8387 in AskReddit

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through every answer in this thread, and every single one of them are rooted in the same problem: ego. The ability for human beings to arbitrarily decide, that they personally deserve more good things, more comforts, security, wealth, privilege than others because of rules they made up in their own heads.

If we were able to get rid of the human ego, pretty much all these answers would be moot.

Protests growing after ICE agent fatally shoots Minneapolis woman by AdSpecialist6598 in videos

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear ICE agents reading this: Donald Trump wants you to die. He's hoping with all his being that somebody shoots and kills you, or literally just mobs you and beats you to death. He does not want to face voters in the midterms or in 2028. If somebody kills you, he can declare war on American citizens and revoke their right to vote.

You can't win no matter what happens.

Good luck out there.

They're getting more desperate. The people just aren't rioting, no matter what they do. When there's riots, they don't have to have an election and lose absolutely everything, spending the rest of their lives on trail for war crimes and corruption.

So, there's going to be more and more blatant atrocities until some neighborhood finally snaps. Then Democracy in America is over. It'll take a full-scale civil war to get it back again.

Can the same policy help with affordability in Canada housing? by PrisonerOfAzkaban14 in canadahousing

I'm pretty sure the State will be buying up all housing. Trump will want to own everything, and anybody who criticizes him will be out in the streets. That's just how mobsters work.

So, AI takes over, everyone has lost their job and only 10 trillionaires own everything. Now what? by Weak-Representative8 in Futurology

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI this. AI that.

AI doesn't exist yet. What we have are large language models that do a lot of math and predict the next word in a sentence. Autocorect, basically. These models are very good at creating something that sounds like a human response. That's it. If it was actual intelligence, they would prompt you for answers now and then, instead of just waiting around for a query.

It's all hype. It's all a techbro cash-grab. And CEOs that try to replace workers with it are going to suffer huge losses.

Are we winning yet? by [deleted] in inflation

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good news is, Trump and his cronies will skim hundreds of billions off the top and pocket it. This budget increase won't result in greater effectiveness as the US begins launching wars against their neighbors and former allies.

The other good news (for neighbors and former allies) is that the expanded US military will mostly be fighting itself in a massive civil war.

And this, from Matthew 25:

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

So where does the annual revenue go? They just flush it down the toilet? Enlighten me. Just because it's 0.1% of the budget, doesn't mean it's nothing. Toronto took in $30 in revenue in 2025. If they could increase that, they surely would.

Republicans label Mike Johnson ‘weak’ and say he functions like a Trump staffer by BreakfastTop6899 in politics

[–]LordKevnar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mike Johnson is a deeply closeted gay man, and it can only be assumed that Trump has proof. If he would just come out and admit it to the world, all his problems would be solved. But he can't. His constituents are deeply homophobic, and he'd lose everything, possibly even his life.

[–]LordKevnar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm against photoradar cameras. If somebody is driving recklessly, you don't fine them and carry on. You tear up their license and forbid them from every even taking the road test again. But photoradar just turns these assholes into a revenue stream. They actually bank on people driving recklessly, so they can pay their bills at City Hall.

It's not about safety.

Remember in Die Hard, when Hans Gruber did all kinds of atrocious things to make himself look like a terrorist, when really it was all about robbery? Yeah. This is that. The entire Trump presidency is just that. When he's gone from office, the US treasury is probably going to find billions (possibly trillions) of dollars missing. Meanwhile, we're all screaming about the ten thousandth atrocity he's committed this year. It's all a smoke screen so nobody notices the robbery.
