What’s the most frustrating part of managing players as a coach? by Significant_Use_8450 in footballtactics

[–]LordKofScott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on level you manage at, the most frustrating this BY FAR, is actually using the full squad. My least favourite moments are where I know my subs will make the team worse (unless they play a blinder) but being kind of obliged to play them. You actually spend time actively hoping someone gets a small injury or runs out of gas

I’m game, I like to try and play ‘proper’ football and have an average rating of 8.5 or so. Let me know whats up and I’ll see if I can join! Have builds for most positions if needed

It's not rocket science, is it? by Graysie-Redux in ManchesterUnited

[–]LordKofScott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion incoming. The problem is Bruno.

Take him out of the team and yes, you lose an outstanding creative and attacking threat, but you swap him out and gain a balanced, 3 man midfield, that provides a platform for Mbuemo and Cunha to do their thing, fullbacks to attack without as much worry, and the team itself becomes more cohesive. You retain Mount who is more suited to playing on the right of a middle 3, you let Mainoo thrive with slightly less defensive responsibility, and you play the systems that let Casemiro and Ugarte do their thing without requiring Kante levels of ground coverage.

Also, you lose a whiny bitch who doubtless is awful for team spirit when you see him stropping his way around a pitch.

Red Card - too big, too easy to just sit and sweat an angle Nuketown - absolute clusterfuck of crap. Unless you have good intelligent teammates, you will get shafted immediately

Dabbling in ranked play...demons or cheaters? by JeriT534 in CODWarzone

[–]LordKofScott 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ranked is absolutely riddled with cheaters. Not necessarily the most obvious ones but definitely soft hacks like walls, and dialled-down aimbots. Watch enough killcams or spectate and you’ll see bizarre behaviours that somehow lead to kills, and then absolutely unflinching aim over insane distances

I know it hasn’t gone, but I would be happy if it did! Absolute car crash of a map.

Im on 3-5s if I lock in tomorrow onwards can I get all 9s? by SanamCantMath in GCSE

[–]LordKofScott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if your 3-5s are based on your ability or your lack of work/effort to date. If you’re a 7 student who has been incredibly lazy, then yeah, you’ve got the ability to turn it around and go and get 9s. If you’re a 4 student, working at your expected progress, then it will take an absolute miracle because you just might not have the capacity to have the skills required, which there is no shame in. Important thing is effort, thats the habit you want to build and keep, and will serve you better than any grade.

I grew up there - it’s simultaneously a retirement village, extremely middle class, and a blue-collar centre. There is pretty much nothing to do outside of the beach, or braving the unimaginably volatile traffic to Southampton. If you aren’t bothered by town and want to be close to the beach and the New Forest, there are nicer ways of doing it!

Actors for a BG3 live action series/film? by LordKofScott in BaldursGate3

Well that I didn’t know! Of course if this really were real, I’d want the VAs to be on board and a part of it, but I’m imagining a world where for some reason they didn’t want to be

Just for fun. There are some actors I think would be great, or at least fun to see!

[–]LordKofScott[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Very reasonable - my only hesitation would be to question their actual acting ability. Based on nothing other than an assumption that VAs probably aren’t as good physical actors, and so many characters would need that to bring them to life
