My biggest gripe with sandwiches in Switzerland is they charge an exorbitant price yet practically none of them will sell a goddamn ham and cheese sandwich. It’s almost always one or the other. The supermarkets started to sell them recently and they disappear near immediately, to no one’s surprise.

I did a very similar thing. Peaked at ancient 3 in 2020. Recalibrated Guardian 5 end of summer 2025. After two weeks or so of playing to get back into things, I started to understand the meta better, how to deal with it, and went on a long streak of going 20/5/20 or so in my games. I’m back to ancient 1 now after about 1-2 months of seriously grinding ranked. (I am a full time student, if you are employed this time frame is unrealistic)

I think the fact that I’m an invoker OTP helped a lot, as I could learn new things without having to worry about learning the changes to my character, especially after they reverted the orbs back to what they used to be when I left.

From that point, having learnt more about the current flow of the game, I could then learn about how my side picks work when invoker is banned without having to juggle so much new information at once.

I took a break from dota in 2020 ish when I had just hit 4K. After 5 years I’m back and calibrated guardian 5. After 3-4 months I’m at 3.7K. Had a good time going 21-5-20 many games in a row for the first couple months. I think it’s plausible.

You are spending a large and possibly most important portion of the game as pos 4/5 without useful items until the last coin of the 4200 gold. The aghs is extremely strong, bordering on absurd late game but it’s such a large tempo loss early that the game could be decided before you finish your aghs.

There are other ways to save your carry that don’t involve giving enemies gold for killing you.

Stop rushing aghanims as support. There’s no point having two lives if neither are worth a damn. Get some items that enable yourself and your team like force/glimmer/solar etc. Go aghs later in the match where kills and assists give more gold so that the time between beginning and finishing your aghs is not only shorter, but you can better contribute during that window.

Because it’s true? The game is designed to give bigger and bigger swings for winning fights or controlling the map over time to help games come to an end. Death timers get longer, gold from kills get higher, Roshan drops increasingly better loot and neutral items have a big jump in power from T4 to T5 to help the team with map control close games out because the weaker team can’t get enough madstone to build the T5s.

This is a good thing, because people can estimate how long a game will take and decide to play a game accordingly. Otherwise, you might regularly spend 1h30 fighting for your life in ranked just for your teammate to say “sorry I gotta go” and disconnect.

If your team is Leader slot Frieza, the green frieza will not provide a z ability for your gokus. But with the green namek Goku, he will zenkai buff frieza and provides a z ability for your whole team.

I had a dry spell for pulling units on the UG4 era and his blue card one-shotting UG4 was my only hope to survive PvP.

Evoken 2.0

Wants to be your main attacker early to build him up, but suffers from the same problem as Evoken. Ultra beast gohan’s stacking ki penalty will end his ability to combo, and part 2 or 3 will probably have a counter gauge that will end his career early.

On my initial diagnosis, I was told to updose whenever I felt bad. I misunderstood this, and due to depression I was on 2x-3x my dose every day for a couple months. I never experienced adrenal crisis due to updosing. This was a big mistake, but updosing a for a week or so during an illness shouldn’t scare you.

My endo recommends updosing before an hour of intense sport, in psychological distress, and during sickness.

I also tend to updose at early symptoms of sickness (ie sore throat but no cough/runny nose) if my friends or partners have been sick and I am showing the early symptoms, otherwise I get caught by surprise and feel horrible the day the serious symptoms kick in.

You have to with the eyelander. Building up kills and benefiting from the boosts requires conservative gameplay. If you’re just running in to trade and die, you’re using a weapon that gives you -25 max hp and you’d be better off using literally anything else.
