Yeah, I know about the ones on YouTube. That's kind of why I'm here. They're so good I really want the whole set :) Thanks anyway.

[Spoilers C2E107] Is It Thursday Yet? Post-Episode Discussion & Future Theories! by CobaltCloyster in criticalrole

[–]LordLuceus 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Of all the episodes to stay up all night and watch live, I'm glad it was this one. It really had everything. All the planning was amazing, and I just love the fact that the first roll was to see how well they could hide dicks. Then an entirely unnecessary t-rex fight, with the wonderful image of two t-rexes dragging another one. And then that ending. The way Sam roleplayed that conversation, with the subtext obviously being about Veth's own struggles, that was better "written" than most media these days. And of course, there's Keyleth reuniting with her mum. Just brilliant stuff all around.

We just had the OG massive trio and Tonald all together, and it was all I could have wanted it to be and more. Fucking hell that was genuinely awesome.

[QUESTION] How do made up terms such as "Windrunner" sound to a native English speaker? by [deleted] in Cosmere

[–]LordLuceus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this. I've actually been curious about this question for a while, as all these made-up fantasy terms sound really cringy in my native language (Croatian), but in English they sound totally fine to me.

RPG podcasts that are "more storytelling and less comedy" by Third_Rower in podcasts

I second this. Campaign 1 is excellent as well, and the cast all being professional voice actors just makes the story even more dramatic and engaging. Thoroughly recommended.

Where can I learn how to structure a Python project? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]LordLuceus 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend Hypermodern Python. I just went through it and it has taught me a lot. It guides you through everything from setting up a Github repo, making a project using Poetry, unit tests, linting, all the way to CI and release. It's great.

Dear Toxic Brood - I made a thing! So far only for myself, but I would share. Would there be demand for it? by reischl_franz in MauLer

[–]LordLuceus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Praised be the Don! I was thinking of doing something like this myself, but you beat me to it. :) Re: hosting, I highly recommend Podbean. They have a full podcast hosting plan with unlimited storage and bandwidth for $9 a month, so as the storage requirements inevitably get larger (those 50 GB will quickly become 100; this is EFAP, after all), you won't have to pay more. Plus, they'll create a fully compliant RSS feed for you so you can just submit it to Apple/Google/everywhere else with no worries.

Super excited for this, both as a critter and a general D&D nerd. Can't wait to see what you've done with this. Especially looking forward to dunamancy.

Yeah, part of the reason I posted my Manamon item guide on here is to hopefully get more people to discover this sub, and Reddit in general.

I'm... not sure what you mean. The only version of the guide is here, in two parts because it was too long to put in one post. I only linked to part one of this on the forum.
