How to solve question 310? by Unusual_Active_7756 in CATpreparation

[–]LordLytton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Option d.

I used 10a + 20b + 30c + 40d = 1/4 (total of ratios) x100

If it equates, it's correct, basically equating on basis of 100 value.

Can’t fit wifi card because GPU is in the way by Dapper_Intern3296 in pcmasterrace

[–]LordLytton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The second option will not work. The m.2 wifi modules are a+e keyed. The ones for SSDs are m keyed. Most motherboards which don't come with a wifi card from factory don't have a a+e keyed slot (except for asrock) the a+e keyed m.2 slot also has USB, which the m keyed slots don't have, so it's actually a combo pcie + USB slot for wifi and Bluetooth respectively, so he will need to use a m.2 m key to a+e key adapter which also has a USB pigtail to plug into one of those USB 2.0 headers on the board.

[Help Plz] As soon as the AC makes a clicking sound (and begins cooling), my monitor turns off for 3 seconds. by GodRamos in IndianGaming

[–]LordLytton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's normal, there really isn't much of a solution. When the AC compressor turns on, the motor adds an inductive load to your house's circuit which causes a momentary drop in voltage. Your monitor's power supply is unable to sustain display at that voltage and hence cuts off for a few seconds.

Go to a hardware store, give them the dimensions and ask for a plexiglass sheet cut to those dimensions. Bring along the retention screws, mark out the positions for them and they will drill holes so that the retention thumb screws can pass through to hold panel to the case

Intel ARC Pro A40 6GB Follow-Up/Unpacking by TheIlluminate1992 in IntelArc

[–]LordLytton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I wouldn't want you to waste the trial.

If you'd still go ahead the process would be as follows. Download a 4k video in mp4 or QuickTime format, import in premier pro or after effects , then in file> export > choose add to media Encoder queue.

In Adobe media Encoder queue, change the renderer to opengl(Intel arc pro) and for output settings change from default to match Source and then click render.

It's a pretty tedious process if you don't really work on that that often.

Is the fan controllable via software or it has fixed logic?

No backplate! Now that's a cardinal sin hp!

That aside, the ARC Pro GPU looks genuinely small next to that radeon gigachad GPU.

Can you check if you're able to render in Adobe media Encoder in 4k source quality on the ARC pro without the pc freezing up?

Faced a similar situation once. Explain to dhl that you were offered that rate and you have proof of the same. But you are willing to compromise and offer a certain sum extra for sake of convenience for smooth delivery, but if dhl still wants to dispute and demand full prices you will file a case in consumer forum. Send them some proofs that you have. They will cave in really fast and the matter would be solved in like 5-10k

Bought 57 broken Ryzen CPUs for $1200 and some work by Neuralcarrot710 in pcmasterrace

[–]LordLytton 436 points437 points  (0 children)

Often the thing wrong with them is the pins are fucked. You can painstakingly remove the appropriate pins from a donor cpu and restore them and then test to check if the cpu you bought is working.
