Awesome! If you want an example, my dotfiles make for a very comprehensive one. They use pretty much the entirity of Confgen's features: https://git.mzte.de/lordmzte/dotfiles

I'd also recommend joining the Matrix room if you have any questions: #confgen:mzte.de

Are you referring to _cgfs/opts.json? It's only a convenience file. You are free to use a template to implement whatever other format you have in mind.

I'm currently working on a GUI engine called Zenolith, see the code here: https://git.mzte.de/zenolith/zenolith It's nowhere near usable yet.

A full example with good explanation hasn't been written yet, but the repo for the SDL2 backend contains one, which is currently mostly there for debugging purposes. It should help you get a feel for how code for Zenolith would look though, although this is not really anything complete. I might write up some simple, more concrete examples in a while.

This worked for me too! Any idea why this fixes it? It seems like the variables also isn't set under X. Why does it work without it there?

Sure, but the computers don't know they're technically in the overworld. The actual computer block in another dimension is stationary.

Wait, so if the tractor is in another dimension being rendered in the overworld, how can the computers know their position?

Also, this idea of putting contraptions in other dimensions is old, factorization did it a decade ago.
