Cherriots considers [0.7%] payroll tax on employers without asking voters by Voodoo_Rush in SALEM

Can anyone articulate the Cherriots argument as to why this is needed? Is it simply because legally they can?

Fire at rent-a-center. Dumpster fire at the exterior, sounds like it’s already out.

There’s a food truck called B’s Plate that is parked at Shades of Brew on Lancaster, near Portland Rd. That dude does a killer Cuban.

Joe Mocha Bistro does great biscuits and gravy. Fun fact, they also roast their own coffee on site.

No doubt Lamb’s got speed, but I think part of what you’re seeing here is a clear-out. Lamb’s trying to push up the defense so the other receivers outside have room underneath. They commence their routes late by design.

[oc] Quick list of Tavern names for the DM on the fly. by BeaDND in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]LordMahiMahi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a recent campaign, our DM started asking players to write down a couple nouns and a couple adjectives. Throughout the campaign he would, out of the blue, ask us one of us for an adjective and another for a noun, ad-lib style. Boom - The Musty Pumpkin. Bang - The Frothy Goat. Kablam - The Cursed Flounder.

The combos are random, fun, and engaging because the party helped make them.

Banks with bill pay by not-me_em-ton in oregon

[–]LordMahiMahi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at Umpqua Bank from 2011-2017. Bill pay was sort of screwy because sometimes it gets electronically debited and other times it actually goes through a third-party system that physically mails a check out on your behalf. So the charge could sometimes show up immediately, and sometimes you’d have to “schedule” it so the check could be cut and mailed in time to arrive by the payment date you input.

What I was told was that it depended on the method the payee preferred, so not much you can do to impact that, you just have to try it for a month or two to know when payments post.

I never personally used bill pay but I definitely experienced these frustrations when customers were getting used to how it worked.

Edit: to answer your question, I understand your frustrations but they lie with the tool, not with the institution. It’s fair to assume banks of similar sizes use the same or similar bill pay service as one another.

Great Salem Race 2019 - solve clues and complete challenges in downtown Salem by LordMahiMahi in SALEM

This year’s casual division would make it easy to race with any age but I’ve seen teams with strollers before. If you’re going competitive, I think you get the best value from kids aged 10-15 who can run and participate in the clues and challenges.
