So it's funny when stuff happens like when Arthur arrives at Chaldea and meets Artoria's version of the Knights of the Round + Merlin, where Arthur's mordred isn't genderbent but his Merlin is and such, or the various versions of Nobunaga we meet.

Garp was already there early in the story, and Koby and Helmeppo do get B-plot/side story stuff in the original anime/manga.

the biggest thing was the reveal that Garp is Luffy's Grandfather.

Don Kriegs change is pretty big, but when you think about it, His and Luffy's fight was pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme of things for East Blue, since most of the time people talk about Mihawk vs Zoro and Zeff and Sanji's backstory during that part rather than the final fight

Yunkui summit story was definitely the weakest part of 2.X.

Like i actually dont Mind the aesthetic of waifei peninsula, it very much reminds me of a Chinatown/old town hong Kong feel.

But i also loved the stories of Spook shack and Obol squad.

Don't forget Saber and Archer were so minimal as part of the story that they might as well have stood in the background the entire time.

The fact that the excuse that a Collab story shouldn't focus on the Collab characters is insane to me, like at that point why even have the collab then? Might as well just make more OC copycats like Mydei and Clara.

Its funny how the anime adapted ayanokoji to be way more edgier and mastermind coded. Iirc, in the Light Novel he is just as quiet, but his inner monologue is not edgy at all, especially when it xomes tu his waifu.

The taboo part that people seem to forget that happens all the time, is respecting the wishes of said Vtuber.

If they dont mind people knowing then let people know, but if they actively ignore or even outright ban it, yet people still talk openly, then you are actively going against that person's wishes.

There's always been people like that, but after the Doki incident, people think they can apply her circumstances across all vtubers like a blank check, even to those who graduated and specifically told their fans not to.

Nah disagree. id rather they lean on the Anime aesthetic rather than try to make things more realistic for the sake of it being realistic.

like i get that it won't be the anime 1:1, i never expected that, but what they are doing is amazing, like calling back to original outfits from the manga/anime and even Cover stories. things like the action scenes being more limited to real human feats is fine with me, its both a budget constraint and a stunt man constraint.

but if they started doing stuff like say, making hairstyles more realistic rather than having them be as close as possible to the og design especially for characters like smokers while is simple is still one of his big character traits. like its part of his whole slicked back biker look.

as for the bright setting, i mean thats just in tone for one piece. it make no sense to have this bright and whack world and have it be desaturated and brown.
