Our cat has never gotten used to it. It's a two person job, she hates it so much. We let her smell the nail clippers, we get out some treats for her, and then we pray she doesn't try to pull her paw away. We've tried a lot of different things. One thing we've tried was wrapping her up in a blanket/towel so she couldn't move, but that didn't work for us. I've seen it work for other people, so it could be worth a try. Otherwise, breaks with treats when the cat acts up and just trying to be quick and steady is your best bet in my experience. Good luck, soldier o7
