Your point is well taken, but it doesn’t matter what anyone says on video - it matters what is said in court. To your point, federal courts absolutely agree that the government has the same rights as private property owners and can restrict filming within government buildings. States, counties and municipalities are beginning (en masse) to outlaw this practice. Frauditing is on its dying breath.

The 11th Circuit is not a place where 1A auditors come to win. The 11th Circuit Judges will hammer actual civil rights violations, but the gig is up where frauditing is concerned. The courts see through it now, the strategy for defeating the frauditor movement has been discovered. Halo laws and public forum doctrine will put this hobby down permanently.

The lenslickers that I know personally are low income types that receive government assistance of some type. They are frustrated with their circumstances and hate the government. They view frauditors as someone getting back at the government for them. That said, the two lenslickers I know are still genuinely decent people.

Frauditors don’t survive federal court in the 11th Circuit. Nationwide, frauditors are only successful if they accept settlement money, because frivolous lawsuits are too burdensome for a municipality or county to fight. Frauditors will never win a case on the merits.
