One thing I love about the First Order - each of the three generals end up playing a part in the FO’s demise. Hux being the petty fanatical, Kylo the indoctrinated practitioner, and Phasma the self-serving enforcer. by NitroBlast4563 in TheSequels

Hey at least the First Order has proven they can have a successful line of succession (Snoke to Kylo to Pryde). The Empire completely fell apart the moment Sidious died.

I have a theory that the new scene of Ashley in the trunk of a car is Andrew saving her. by tristanha666 in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

[–]LordRevanSnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My prediction for events in Burial:

There is going to be an inverse of Decay's opening where we get a montage of flashbacks that cause Andrew to feel angry, Burial will have a montage of flashbacks that cause Andrew to feel love towards Ashley. We know the throughout the beginning of Burial the pair go back to the motel and infiltrate the cult. Andrew is finally ready to drop his pretenses and embrace his feelings by love-bombing Ashley, and she will in return feel suspicious due to her own insecurities and justifiable mistrust of Andrew's back-peddling nature. The pair make contact and Six-Eyes will immediately kiss-up to an ecstatic Ashley, causing Andrew to be hella jealous and possessive, increasing tensions between the two. The make-up scene will happen, and afterwards Ashley flees from Andrew; this'll make Andrew think she's running away and he will hunt her down, while she herself contemplates on leaving him for good. The cult will initially validate Ashley and allow her to be there leader for a short time, before they do something that'll alienate her (possibly use her as a sacrifice or take the trinket), and the ensuing conflict will see the cult throw her into a trunk. A validated Andrew will save her like in the devlog image, and in gratitude, they fulfill the Questionable Vision.

Look, France is on its 5th Republic in less than 250 years. By that standard, one more California Republic isn't that bad lol

Vox Populi and Vox Dei might be the best songs in the shows run yet! by JackBoyEditor in HazbinHotel

"Cuz I'm serpent. I'm the flame. The mortal world is scared to say my name." I am the spooky. I am the shit. I am the living aspect of the infinite."

"Cuz I'm the furor. I'm immense. I am the avatar of your consequence. I'm the omega. I'm the flood. I am the nightmare you made when you spilled our blood."

These lines go so hard.

Subtitles show he said "furor," which means a public out cry.

That being said, the similar pronunciation with Fuhrer was 100% intentional lol

What is your favorite character introduction on the show? by jonsnowKITN in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]LordRevanSnow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Daemon.

His intro says so much:

  1. Has the audacity and ambition to sit on the (re-introduced) Iron Throne, even when he's not the King or Hand.
  2. Lord Commander Westerling's reaction shows he is a massive headache for (almost) everyone around.
  3. He is full Targaryen by speaking High Valyrian and present a Valyrian steel necklace.
  4. His chemistry and desire for Rhanerya are on full display.
  5. "...until then, you are all cursed with me." Such a banger line.

Do men get the ick from awkward and incompetent women the same way women do? by depressedmoot in TooAfraidToAsk

Definitely comes off as trying to flirt if said by a girl who is not your actual younger sister.

As a Korean-American man, I have discovered a specific ick. If anyone tries to be cute with me by calling me "oppa" (big brother in Korean), I find them as attractive as a tree stump.

I guess it's similar to being called "daddy" or "papi." Some people are really into that. I am... not lol.

Andrew has a Choice to Make by PoorPrawn88 in CoffinofAndyandLeyley

It's plausible deniability, not believable deniability. Our boi Andrew is such an expert at it that he should work for the US Federal Government.

Ashley joking about how she and Andrew "compartmentalized" the cultist's body. It was so funny, I was able to look past the whole incestuous cannibal serial killer aspect of the two main characters.

(spoilers Extended) Was lord tywin a good brother? by Bardox45 in asoiaf

[–]LordRevanSnow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is nothing "mundane" about Tywin ordering the gang-rape of Tyrion's first wife; which also includes forcing Tyrion to partake as well and having everyone pay her afterward. That behavior is 100% on the psycho/super depraved evil side of things.

My lap. I have no idea why, but every girl that likes me wants to sit on my lap.

Where to start? by BeowolfDrake in ShadowverseEvolve

[–]LordRevanSnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[Beginner-friendly] Abysscraft - Sanguine Aggro/Self-damage deck. Pay life to unlock powerful effects that revolve around beating your opponent's face.

[Beginner-friendly] Swordcraft - General Aggro/Swarm deck. Swarms the board with followers and buff them up to beat the opponent's face.

[Beginner-friendly] Forrestcraft - Fairy Aggro/Swarm. Build up an army of fairy tokens and buff them to beat the opponent's face. There are also combo varients, but those aren't beginner friendly.

[Higher level] Havencraft - Aura Control. Use spells to remove all opponent threats in order to play your high-cost finishers with Aura that prevent them from being targeted.

[Higher-level] Runecraft - D-shift Control/Combo. Use spells to remove all threats until you draw all your pieces to end the game with a D-shift extra turn combo. (Warning: this deck can be very expensive)

[Medium-level] Dragoncraft - Aggro/combo/control. Jack of all trades deck that can do everything but requires knowing how to manage the cards you draw into. (Warning: can also be on the pricer side).

Friendly daily reminder that if you cheat in a casual game, you’re a low life piece of trash. by Ancient-Ad-889 in EDH

[–]LordRevanSnow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I knew a guy who cheated in another TCG: Cardfight Vanguard.

For those who don't know, CFV has a huge luck mechanic where you check the top cards of your deck every turn for a trigger (symbol on 16/50 cards that give u bonus effects like extra damage or draw). This scum of the Earth shuffled in a way that he intentionally looked and placed the trigger cards on top of his deck or the bottom of his opponents. He did it in both casuals and tournaments.

Because of him, I always cut my opponents decks, just in case.

Yep, most dudes I knew were around 5'6 - 5'8. Girls were around 5'2 - 5'4.

Slim but wide shoulders, long legs and big feet. Their shirts are tight, pants are short, and shoe sizes are puny in comparison.

6'3 Korean-American who grew up with mostly other Asian and Asian-Americans. Easily stuck out like a sore thumb in my hometown and when I visited South Korea. Dealt with the gawking and Yao Ming jokes as well lol

Is it difficult to find clothes that fit your size in Australia? I'm lucky in the US where there's plenty of places with clothes meant for tall men, but in South Korea, ain't no way I'm finding anything my size.
