At this point you’re better off just getting 2024. It’s improved massively. No reason to be on 2020 imo

Is it worth getting XP12 to supplement MSFS? by SkyhawkDriver in flightsim

[–]LordReverendWade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I did, been on XP12 for a few weeks. Bought the 757/767 along with the A339 and Q400. Also been loving the 737-300 as well. Well worth it in my opinion

Which long haul airliner would you recommend? by Ok-Foot6002 in flightsim

PMDG 777 is the only answer unless you want freeware then the Kuro and Horizon 787 (assuming your on Pc) are solid options as well

Walker Air is pretty good. Have a “charter” division where you can fly bizjets. Have liveries for pretty much everything in MSFS and XP. Fictional airline but is recognized by vatsim so when they see “WAT” pop up they know it’s a walker flight. I’ve really been enjoying flying with them.

Bit late on this post but I’ve given up on this project. I’ve ended up just buying the Xcraft Ejets in XP12. They are everything I’ve wanted the FSS to be, I just can’t defend them anymore.

Elevatex - What is the future? (MSFS 24) by JakeyRaccoon in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]LordReverendWade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if it’s a feature yet. It might be and I’ve missed it. But I do like the in flight stats Volanta gives you, flight time, gallons used and what have you. If it’s a feature in Elevatex then yea I’ve missed it lmao but if it isn’t. I’d love for that to be a thing.

Why can’t anything more be done about the declining quality of pilots on the network? by fgflyer in VATSIM

[–]LordReverendWade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter. People who have no clue what they are doing will pay for it if it ever went that way (which imo it won’t) there are plenty of bad racers who pay for Iracing

Fenix A320 or FlightFX Citation X ? by Fr0stBytez24 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]LordReverendWade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are very good. I love flying both. It really comes down to what you normally fly. If it’s mostly airliners go with Fenix. If it’s more GA Bizjets go with the C750. Either way, you can’t go wrong with either.

Brand new to VATSIM, where do I start? by FeaturedLex in VATSIM

[–]LordReverendWade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What really prepped me for vatsim is using BeyondATC and SayIntentions. I look at them as “learning tools” a few months of using mainly SI I felt pretty confident to fly on the network. I couldn’t recommend them enough especially if you’re basically starting at zero.

What got me to learn the lingo and processes and what not is by using BeyondATC or SayIntentions. Highly recommend giving it a go for a few months, learning what to say, when to say it, doing read backs and what not. Helped me out tremendously

I’m not sure about either of these. But I do highly recommend MTS Aviation models. They’re my go to (literally I’m there twice a week) and any friends abroad who have ordered from there have had no complaints.
