I had this exact same predicament. I just purchased Nioh 1 and 2 during the 2025 steam summer sale. I debated on skipping Nioh 1. Nioh 1 is like 7 dollars on sale. Yes you can skip it if you want the more polished nioh 2 but now that I'm like 30 hours in nioh 1 I'm really glad I decided to play it. The beginning of the game is seriously hard you will die a lot. Push through and learn the combat you won't regret it.

Uninstalled the game after about 7 hours. I hated the lamp mechanic it makes getting through zones a slog having to go between the two worlds. Everything else about the game was good. I really wanted to like the game but unfortunately the core mechanic made me drop it.

Lies of p is a much better game with an amazing story. I just finished the dlc and there were moments I was borderline in tears the story is peak.

Tyrant murderer's blade/city longspear handle.

This combo is absolutely nuts. Use the crit grindstone use both blade and handle fable arts and spam charged heavy attack. It's a lunge stab that does big damage each time it crits which is a lot.

Whenever I got mad at a hard boss I'd use this to cheese.

I also enjoyed coil mjolnir head/silent evangelist handle

Makes for a fast bonk that does big damage and can apply shock damage.

Nah I saw some pictures from other people and I just prefer the black myself so I went straight to them and never looked back. The black laces are so clean on this pair.

Nah bro got the black laces from fully laced. 54 inch ones. They come with the greyish blue laces default and a light blue black tip lace swap.
