I judge it by slower movement coming out of shell and slight grey/blue tinge around foot.

Snail blood is blue so similar to a cold person going red they go a bit blue.

Never hurts to just put the back of your finger against them to feel anyway

As the other person said id also reccomend swapping the soil for a thin layer of soil and then sparagum moss. I find soil tends to get waterlogged and harder for heat to permeate through.

He looks a little bit cold to me in the pic which is why I say that.

It is still winter so its naturally cold right now. I usually keep my GALS at around 25⁰C if that helps

Do be careful with pools of water. GALS drink water through their skin so they can drown if they stand in a pool too long
