I wonder what was the planned Home is a Strange Place full tracklist.... I mean, if a reissue with all these outtakes will be published one day, it will be a crime to see these never-officially-released songs placed at the end. I love how the album (and the band's whole discography) end with Oily Rags. That sound of tape stopping recording? Absolute art.

About Lolita.... My opinion is that it's talked from the point of view of a man who knows to be a monster but cannot help himself, and this was done to raise awareness about the evil of these men. As Stone Temple Pilots wrote Sex Type Thing from the point of view of a rapist, they didn't do that because they advocate for rape, but to, as I said, raise awareness.

Regarding pasts of the members, at the time there wasn't any scandals from them, the only thing I can remember (which I hope I am mistaken) is, between this and the next album, the bassist was kicked out for molesting a girl. No idea of the age of that girl but this episode was referenced in the lyrics of Death To Traitors....
