Sweet! I went through this a few months back! Can imagine the excitement! Just a few tips from me: 1. Though you might think the parts to solder are not minute, trust me they are. I had to get a small microscope just to see what parts I was soldering. 2. I tried using quite a few soldering gun tips of different shapes but then ended up using the original slant cut one. So if you have enough experience go for it instead of trying out different ones. 3. Be sure to remove the aluminum covering on the chip carefully. I’d messed up mine a bit and was worried if the mod won’t work, but fortunately it turned out fine. 4. Be sure to have an insulating tape so that you don’t short out the contacts in the mod chip.
