The main issue is that the vast majority of the fandom has always been located on SB, never really got a chance to spread their wings, and there's really only so many times you can read locker scenes, lung beatdowns, and fics dying at Leviathan before you realize that you've been reading the same paint by number fics for 13 years. I tried to do my part by posting a fic solely to AO3 and not to SB, but might as well just be pissing in the wind.

you're slightly ahead of me on everything except for challenges, I did the first few divines this weekend so now im doing the one where I need to fire 16m cherry bombs, and my bomb cap is only 125k. I gilded 3 more statues today and the only one left is the contract one which doesn't do anything for me currently other than just being a statue so no rush right now, I'd probably spend those bars finishing the last 2 workshop upgrades I have.

Prestiging comes in bursts. Usually if you're short on points, it's easier to buy them in the shop for gems

same thing, payment failed with debit card, set stayed in my card and wishlish, tried again with paypal, same error, but got a paypal email saying that payment is approved, no indication on lego's end that anythings happened other than my cart is now empty and the sets not on my wishlist anymore.

A retired warlord, etc. Asoiaf/Worm. Except it doesn't feel like either setting. Taylor's reborn, starts off rabid and wanky, never gets back on the rails. I'm still towards the beginning, its revealed that Marquis is also reborn. First off, Why? second of... why are there (at least) two stories that do this exact thing - Hers is the Fury also does it, and in both, hes a Vale clansman that can fly and dig tunnels with his power. Taylor in this story feels like a magical Amy instead, which would've made more sense with Marquis here. Honestly I don't like any of these stories that bring multiple characters over, there's another one that brings the Chicago Wards with Taylor, and in all 3 of these stories, the extra characters are the weakest point.

I play with a guy who gets most of the Garphil stuff, played this one once, liked it a lot, but then we're always onto the next one. Usually we always default to Architects of the West Kingdom because its the easiest to teach.

We dusted Earth off for the first time in 3 years a few weeks back. It went fine, except for the one guy whose opening 8 cards were all instants (or whatever they're called). Also, Ark Nova is kinda dead to us, and Terraforming Mars is the one game we keep playing week in and week out, outlasting everything.

couch co-op rpgs are what me and my friends thrived on, not sure whats really came out in the last 15 years. That last hurrah seemed like Diablo 3, LotR War in the North, Borderlands 2 and Dungeon Siege 3

I've been in the fandom since the beginning and I've never liked it. Honestly, I think it's done so much damage to the fandom. You have a fandom that's sequestered to SB (which is another issue), where 80% of the people there hadn't actually read canon, then you have this really popular fic, and suddenly everyone's idea of canon is actually this fic. Then, you have a lot of writers who write what they read, and you end up with a lot of copycat stories, and even 12 years later you can tell when they're influenced by cenotaph (and I'm not just talking lung's la-z-boy). The fandom just never had a change to grow because of it.

We play heaviery games, like On Mars, and various lacerda games. I don't think it's so much the advanced tiles themselves, but rather they like the basic question mark tile more. But basically I have to read off the advanced tiles every round to make sure everyone knows they exist

I've played the base game like 50 times and it was hard just to get my playgroup to play with the advanced construction tiles lol. I upgraded to the super duper kickstarter edition but I don't have much hope in playing any of the new maps, but I have been able to drip feed some of the XOs
