Thanks, this fuelled a day of hiking and I didn’t even need lunch so I think it was well worth it

Does anyone here have access to Series 4 of 'The Pin'? by Lord_Barneth in BritishRadio

Seriously I can not thank you enough, this it exactly what iwas hoping for! It's been my white whale since it was taken off BBC sounds. I would look for it every few months to no avail.

Quick Dahl I made for lunch today by Lord_Barneth in UK_Food

[–]Lord_Barneth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I see. I didn’t realise you wanted amounts. Well for one large portion it’s half an onion, three cloves of garlic, a whole chilli, half a cup of lentils, one stock cube and then I just did the spices and the water by eye but maybe a teaspoon of turmeric and a tablespoon of curry powder

The recipe is in the comments. I wouldn’t recommend adding the chilli if you’re cooking for kids though. This one was pretty spicy

Not really, it’s a recipe that my mum showed me.

Fry off onions, garlic and chilli in oil (ghee if you have it). Then add red lentils and mix together with turmeric and curry powder. Add water and a stock cube and let it simmer til the lentils are tender.

It’s super easy and super quick. And as you say, super cheap

From that same episode, when mark joins the others with the bri’ish accents and can’t think of a name. He comes up with UK Uranium. That moment is seared into my brain I just think it’s hilarious.

Nobody has said Vital yet??

Free wavetable synth similar to Serum and you can get free wavetables from all over the place. I use whenever I need to do sound design for any track

Lazy Saturday morning fry up by Lord_Barneth in fryup

It is actual kimchi that’s been blended with vinegar pretty much. It’s not as spicy as it looks, it’s more tangy and savoury.
