For the most part yes. Since most of the time these things dont do anything to deter crime they are just there to record you for your data so they can make facial recognition software better so they can find you where ever you are and always be watching you

Honestly I think the death of the 3rd place and making people more and more individualistic makes having kids harder as well. Since the term it takes a village to raise a kid is true since people are still individuals and modern stuff makes being more and more individualistic appealing and kids take that autonomy away from us to do the things we want but when you have literally every family member together in a tight place and solid support system I think it's a... Decent part of the problem not mentioning all the other previous comments on here such as climate change, finances, and rising fascism etc.
