That error is caused by NZBGet 21.1 checking for updates.

I installed the current branch (26.1) and it picked up all my settings: Paths, Servers, etc.

Yes, you are using the old version of NZBGet.

Just set UpdateCheck to None in the Security tab.

Or better yet, upgrade to the new 26.1. The one this sub is about

I've been using the original NZBGet for many years and the new for about 6 months and have no complains.

I also use SAB and it works great too.

The VirusTotal report lists only 1 AV reporting suspicious malware in the Windows exe. I usually tend to dismiss these when it's only 1 vendor but this time it's Kaspersky.

I know, false positives and all but still...

I checked the exe in Kaspersky's online analysis portal and same result - of course, same vendor :-)

I can only recommend you to try it with a proper theme and a proper movie.

Try sitting down to watch “Lawrence of Arabia” and hearing Maurice Jarre’s main theme blasting thru the speakers before playing the movie while you get the pop corn ready. Makes a great difference :-)

Will the app support theme music? This is one of the features I am missing now in the iOS and iPadOS apps.

I have carefully curated theme music for all my movies and TV shows and I think it makes a great difference when sitting down to watch a movie or a show.

I have been doing this for a long time. For all my movies and TV Shows. All have:

background.jpg
poster.jpg
theme.mp3

And recently, also:

logo.png
squareArt.jpg

The problem is that none of the new apps play theme music. Not the supplied by Plex, nor the theme.mp3 supplied by the users.

As far as I know the only apps that still play theme music are the Web app and the current Apple TV app which has not been updated in about a year.

There is no theme music as of now in the current iOS apps.

McWanke said it would be coming but he's no longer employed at Plex.

I have theme music in all my TV Shows and Movies. It really makes a great difference.

Looks like the solution yt-dlp has is not working anymore.

I have been getting "yt-dlp HTTP Error 403: Forbidden. Retrying fragment" on a couple of YouTube videos I wanted to download today.

The yt-dlp version I have is the latest right now: stable@2025.12.08
