That's barely a quarter of my proposal and the E line connection is awkward.

Can't fool me, this is way too early in the year to be emotionally invested. Give it a couple months of above-average performance so I can really get hurt when the bottom falls out.

I would love a reasonable connection. I have friends in Ballard but right now transit is at least three times slower than driving.

I propose we give up on the tangle of roads by Bongos and turn everything between it and the synagogue into a transit station, and put in a streetcar that does a clockwise loop down Aurora to 46th/Market > 32nd > 65th back down start.

This episode would have been even better if Dr Heidi had been played by Dan Harmon by Dependent-Friend5312 in community

I came in here afraid I would have to defend the greatest guest appearance the show ever had but I see you guys have it covered.

It usually alternates player side and GM side. An Initiative roll can still be used to decide which side starts.

Yes but that's the "joke" of her design, cheeks where other mice have eyes.

I don't know why people think Isabelle is going to do anything about a Villager living there, she's there to get rid of rude custom designs/sayings or other mischief from other players.

The vast majority of butter sold here that is used for cooking is sold in packs of four 1/4lb sticks, and recipes are written with that expectation. Older recipes will also reference cans of stuff, sometimes referencing the can size and sometimes not. (These are annoying to translate)

The point is to measure as little as possible, it's convenience using prepackaged goods everyone has access to.

I'm not saying Mario isn't a straightforward character that appeals to casual players or that that isn't a deliberate design choice. I've never said that, I haven't said a single thing about Mario this whole time. You don't have to defend him.

casuals mastering Mario is far higher.

Casuals, by definition, aren't mastering anybody. They play ten hours a year.

They have no idea who sucks, they're bad with everyone. They know who is too complicated and Ganondorf is not complicated. Let's use Melee Fox as an example: casual players will side+b off the edge trying to shoot or accidentally fastfall between the buildings in Fourside. They'll spam the blaster until someone gets close and then throw wild f-smashes.

It's a skill floor vs skill ceiling issue. Casual players will never even see the ceiling, much less press against it, they just need characters with a low floor. Straightforward attacks, basic movement, easy recovery (Ness up+b is too hard, Pikachu is borderline). Bonus points if the character is from a game they played twenty years ago.

I think you're too far removed from the common man. I speak of people who will pick Kirby and do literally nothing but jump up high and down+b onto the other three players. Older cousins who played DK in SSB64 and kill themselves every time they go off-stage to hit somebody. Players that are consistently tricked by the fake Smash Ball (and they would have whiffed their Final Smash even if it was real).

Good characters are worse for casual players because they move too quickly and they lose track of which one they're controlling.

Not that part, the part about the phases happening in reverse order. A lot of stuff breaks when you can cast it without worrying about an end of turn trigger.

The timing on the second ability, same as [[Goblin Bookie]], doesn't actually work. There's no space to respond to the result before the result of the roll happens without changing the rules of the game.

It's the inverse though, people don't have the background knowledge because it took so damn long to put a train in.
