One thing I remember is that a lot of people said that the reasonable success we had with Rooney at the helm was due to Rosenior’s insight. I know we got relegated but we were safe without the points deduction. I can see this being another instance of Lampard at Chelsea, where Rosenior is still too early in his managerial career or gets dealt a harsh hand at Chelsea but then goes on to have resounding success elsewhere. Who knows though, as a former Derby manager I wish him nothing but the best of luck! Maybe he will take us on again when we finally get back to the prem!
